Moonrover, I say, I say now Moonrover! So sad to hear of the loss of red fluid and impending shop time!

Glad your back!

I find it usually easiest to upload to a site like photobucket then they give you the code for your picture for the type of format you want it to show up in.... for this forum, img is the one I pick.

Never mind...we got the rain! In buckets. Our well will be happier now and so will the washer.

Martin's wrist seems to get stronger a tiny bit every day, but hurts and gets swollen when he's been working it. Some excuse for doin' nuttin', eh? He's just 5 weeks out from surgery now and starting PT on Monday. Dunno about no battin' practice...we'll ask the therapist!

Enjoy the day tomorrow, and say hello to the big guy for us. Pics, of course.

Cheers!

I can appreciate that Marty! I did try Photo bucket last year for another forum...it seemed even more confusing...and ended up having to have a Moderator fix it for me.

I think I was trying upload the video button for the photos before...that's why it might not have worked!

Yeah...I loved that! That's why I picked this one. I only had about a 100 pics to choose from!

A couple thousand miles later the tranny had sneaked out enough red fluid that the engine had to rev up to 2400RPM just to get the bus to groan forward or backward. The high pressure then totally blew out the filter gasket. Red fluid surrounded the rear of the bus like "blood lake". Bus would not budge after that. Stuck in reverse. Engine was working fine though.

The location of this event was at the critical entry/exit of a busy RV park. Took four hours for big tow truck to arrive. Many irritated fellow RVers were wandering around looking for ways to get around the bus. Impossible ... a major rain storm was happening ... all soil was soup. My seven or so gallons of tranny fluid sort of floated down the road making the surface slippery red. Difficult to walk on a red slime slope. Fellow RVer who walked his dog past us sure did not look happy.

End of summary for chapter #1 The rest of the story gets into advanced theory of Murphy's Law.
If I had been in that park and that happened, I think I'd try to stay another night. Sounds like a nightmare at it's worst.

Thanks for the info.

Nighty night!

In what might be a first in RVMutant history, we are now at mini-C location # 2 in 2 days time, parked in front of Dunner's house. Lily has made herself at home and cozied up with Sadie in an attempt to warn us about every noise they, and often only they can hear. Sena, a bit mystified by all the strange dogs is a bit slow to warm up to Mike, but tomorrow, uh later today is another day. Pics to follow.

Hey Tim !

HUH ???? I went from hero to zero and I didn't even know about it ? Hopefully if I'm successful deer hunting its possible that we will be going back that way. I don't know yet which way the rainbow will lead me.

Cheers !!!

As you may recall, at the GC, when a Gentleman approached with an awning problem you left the group of mutants to give assistance, muttering you knew all about awning problems. At the last supper, the one at the steak house you said you had him going in no time!

When my awning messed up, it was when all was loaded, and I was ready to pull out. I thought I need someone with a wealth of knowledge and experience with awning problems. Ha I have a card Jeff gave me!

Out comes my phone, from my wallet comes the card, great pictures on both sides of Jeeps and Campers and RVing Couple but no phone number. Ack.....

That's the point, to me you went from hero to zero! Lol

Side note, most of my cards don't have my number on it either, one batch I added it!

My hero wound up being the leader of the toothless family in park that let me borrow their ladder. As I said before, Mary wouldn't stand stil enough for me to work on it with me on her shoulder.

Discover goes to shop Saturday, parts ordered!

Here you go fellow Mutants, my latest blog about the happenings inside the crowded camper. Heaven forbid we actually go anywhere. As professional squatters I tell stories "on the inside."
