Hey Barb congrats on three years, we have our first anniversary in three weeks, then we won't be rookies anymore...not to be confused with the idea we know everything cause as all full timers know, every day is a new experience!

Oops! Didn't mean to start a mutant war, lol. Guess this topic is almost as good as "should the toilet paper hang off the front or the back of the roll".

Thanks for the back pats, for me n Martha. And Barb brought up Steve being 4 months into his smoke free life, Congrats Steve! and to Martha also!

So happy for Diane, there really isn't anything quite like being owned by a Westie. Ours reminded us how to laugh, as she was such a sweet comedienne.

and to Judy and Marty and all the now-non-smokers to go before me. I am indeed still smoke free - since Jan 3rd. I was reluctant to congratulate y'all since my little 4 month run seemed smallish... But I guess we all know what a big deal it is. Thanks for thinking of me!

Shoot... right now, it's a bigger deal for Steve in my mind! I totally forget about it most of the time....but at 4 months... I was still thinking about them and counting the days of being smoke free. For me, it was really important back then to acknowledge each smoke free day as a sort of celebration that yes indeedy, I could do it!

Thanks for the Kudos though. Remembering the struggle is part of what keeps me a non smoker now.

QUOTE=Davdeb1;2060527]If the man goes in, has to lift the seat, then, when he is done, he has to put it down. Then the woman has to do nothing? How is that fair?

The woman says when I sit down in the dark I sit right on the bowl, if the man went without looking he would just pee on the seat.

The man goes he puts up the seat, does his business, leaves the seat up. The woman comes in and goes, she puts down the seat, does her business, leaves the seat down.
This is the way nature intended it.😇[/QUOTE]

I can tell who doesn't read my posts. As I said, put both seats down, if I have to lift one so do the ladies.

Now Jeannie, I type in excess of 70 wmp, as tested. There is no way you can keep up with that.

Come on now. Every one knows that the TP is supposed to come over the top of the roll, not under it. Why would anyone want to pull the TP down to the floor. Over the top you pull towards you until you have 3 yards or so, then rip it off. Pulling it down to the floor will get you dirty TP.

Wayne - is it my old iPhone and app - or is the first quote in your multi-quote post ^^ improperly "clipped"? When you count your + 70 wpm typing speed, how do you count that?

Oh yes at 4 months it is still really fresh and still a daily battle. I was reminded of this last year my DH gave them up. As every quitter knows, it ain't easy. But way worth it. Every once in awhile I find myself checking my pockets for a pack, funny, it is like I forget that I don't do that. Or maybe I am just a bit looney?

Whoo Hooo! When I get the temps back on the case of the RVM Cookbook, maybe you'll pass along a recipe or two!

And who promised you that life would be fair, Dave? I haven't read past this page yet, but I hope someone has convinced you to concede on this issue. There's NO way you'll ever win this battle of the sexes game.
