Displayed great attitude in thread about cost to repair exceeding value - let salvage guy have and on with hunt for upgrade. Now that's some serious mutation!

Btw - Sparky says to tell Mort hello. He wants us to head up there tomorrow - but had to talk him down. Timing isn't right for me, but he's ready to roll.

Nhytefall, welcome to RVMdom!

Have followed the sad story on your other thread. I'm confident you will Mutate nicely into another good rig.

Dave - Sparky was asking about Rocky last night. He was sayin something about a curiosity with Mort and Rocky - but I explained they are currently quite a journey apart. He said "one day, one day for sure". I like his attitude.

Stay tuned for Mort's next adventure to Victoria, the wax museum, Nanaimo and Cameron Falls.

Yeah! A Curiosity of RV Mutant Mascots. Sena would be in charge, of course.

It will be interesting how Rocky reacts. Since we found him in Maine about 12 years ago, he has only been on the dashboard and the picnic table. He is a stubborn sort and quite agoraphobic but refuses medication. We take him for granite.

He is old. Maybe a billion or more. Being the senior in age, he may try to take charge and expound his wisdom in long diatribes. I foresee Sena tossing him like a stone, Mort would mortify him more than he already is, and Sparky would just calmly say he was nuts.

Should make a fine video!

Hey, any other mascots among the rest of you RVMs? Cant be enough of them in RVMdom.

Later!

and Rocky

Heya, Nhytefall -- Welcome to the ... Um ... Uh ... Curiosity! Glad to have you amongst our strange and remarkable number. Add my good wishes for your hunt.

As for mascots, may I submit mine? Having lost the feline love of my life last April, we were left with the old guy, 17-year old Hitch. Extra rib (creating crooked back), heart murmur and extremely sensitive stomach...and he's the one to survive.

Fostering my son's 2 cats now, we find that old Hitch, who has lived peaceably with and beyond any number of cats and 2 dogs, is not ready for this next generation. One of the newbies wants to be friends (armed truce). The other one is like a dog who is a fear-biter; his theory is that a good offense is the best defense. Hiss and strike first. Slowly, slowly, he's coming 'round.

I tell 'em they all have to coexist peacefully by December because that's Snowbird time. Cats are in no hurry. If the journey is the destination, they are definitely in it for the journey!

Wonder what they'd make of Sena!

Cheers!

My submissions for mascots:

Hitch is the first ginger one, short-haired, and looking a bit curmudgeonly. Boris, my lost live, is the gray. He was only 7.

The other 2 ginger ones are litter mates, also age 7. They are a LaPerm and a Skookum, first "breed" cats I've ever had. All the others have been rescues, and these are too, in a way, since they needed a home.

I love them all.

Cheers!

Dogpatch - apparently Sparky is trying to tell me something. Seems Morts adventures in the North Country and Stronger Beer has sparked his interest.

I think Rocky would get along with them just fine. But Rocky moves pretty slow. Would he get "marked" as territory? ;-)

Rocky is hooked on brands like Rolling Rock and Rock Springs, but he likes to dabble
