Hey Mike,

Heard through the mutated vines that you are feeling better. You need to let Linda go home before you start chasing the nurses or you be in the hospital a lot longer.

Get well friend.

It is an amazing story, isn't it.

For a little more detail with photos, go visit www.xkdata.com At the top left, insert the number 669045 into the find car search box then GO.

The first photo you see is me, skinny as a rail, standing behind the car studying the muffler which had just fallen off. That was in 1963 on the coast road in Yugoslavia. We drove it unsilenced through to northern Italy until the law stopped us and told us to get it fixed.

In the text lower down, you have to ignore claims by the person claiming 669045 has been restored. That is not so. John Starkey is the guy who bought it from my Jaguar pal to whom I'd sold it a year before. We met up with John a couple of years back in St. Petersburg FL. where he now lives. He, among many others, has tried to persuade me to buy the car back. However Alex, the current owner, won't let it go. Also, the rear end damage would take more than my resources to fix.

Martin

Martin tells me that his link above does not work correctly. It didn't work for me on the iPad either. However, if you go directly to the website at xkdata.com via Safari or other browser, and then put in the number (669045), the pictures should come up.

Cheers!
Sue

This is my son's xray image from his crash yesterday. He started a new hobby of building long boards for his friends, and hopped on one to go to town for more parts yesterday when he crashed into an abutment of an underpass. Prayers and oms requested for Josiah. It is his left collar bone broke in 3 places, plus he has a bit of rash on his knees. Crazy guy has 2 teen aged daughters who don't have as many accidents as he does. He says it is more painful than anything he has ever experienced, and since it was a holiday they sent him home and told him to call a doctor today.
