Congratulations! That is a great choice. They are very reliable, and do well on gas mileage.

We went back forth on what - but in the end the Honda won us over. We didn't get many pics cause it was getting late - but I did catch the salesman putting the temp plate on.

Thanks Dave. When push came to shove it was hard to ignore the safety and reliability records. We didn't need Nav - but just so happened the one we like had it. I can't know how accurate True Car is - but between it KBB - Car and Driver - US News - Auto Trader - and lord knows what all - we were treated fairly and got a good deal. What more can ya ask for?
Hope you're feeling better Dave and with any luck we'll see ya when ya head south for the winter. Either way - we'll catch up with you and Deb as soon as we can!
Be safe!!

Thanks Les - it's one more duck I line to make retirement happen sooner than later. We are closing the gap slowly. Now I got to edumutate myself on the right towbar, baseplate, brake for her. Many have gone before, so just one more duck... Easy peasy...

Yippee! Another duck lined up, and the list is one item shorter. That's a snazzy-lookin' vehicle you have there to pair up with Bonita Bounder. I hope they will be very happy together!
Cheers!

We speak to her every day by phone because we live about 900 miles from where she is.
She has an uplifted spirit because of her surroundings and the people that she has caring for her. She says, staying here is like being at a 5 star resort (something my Mom has never done in her life) and the people are so wonderfully nice. Porridge in the morning is exactly the way she would make it. They come and ask her if she needs anything or would like anything. There's a triple decker bird house outside her window and she watches the birds come and go all day. Yesterday morning a lady came through with her small pet dog and Mom spent some time with it doing tricks and visiting. In the afternoon a lady came by with her guitar and Mom and her sang songs together for about a half hour. Dinners are great she says, like a fine restaurant, tastes like chef prepared. They bath her, tuck her in make sure she's comfortable.
When she talks, she sounds like she feels pampered and enjoying herself!
The people that care for her there are like Angels and it makes not being there a little easier on the heart strings .
My sister and brother are there every day thankfully.

Les-take solace knowing that she is being treated with such dignity and respect- Hospice can be such a wonderful thing. We did hospice with my FIL and I it was the best experience I have dealt with under the circumstances.
Prayers again for you and your family.

Not nearly as nice as a Jeep or Equinox or Edge, I hope you get many trouble free miles out of it.

We was in North Carolina we didn't have good service it's still spotty but can post once in awhile. As far as feeling better not really but I fake it alright. At my dad's trying to help him out. Just slow going.

And the duck was included as the "deal maker" !! Those car salesmen sure know how to "close".
Will duck ride in car or RV when traveling?

Congrats on the toad. When we got Harvey, we took our first long trip without one and we had serious toad envy the entire way. Didn't matter that we had a rental car waiting for us at the site, we felt naked going down the road.

I think that was a shot of the engine in those new CRV's.
