I'd suggest that you plant a small Mike tree on your place, 'cause I have this end covered. This world cannot have too many trees just like a person can't have too many friends like Mike.

I probably missed the post, but what kind of tree did you choose for Mike?

I suppose that would be better than a rectal exam...

The old biddy next door heard about the application and went around Oak bay getting a petition signed stopping council from approving the removal application. She got the r3equired 500 and council nixed the trees being removed.
Fast forward six months to the middle of a wet and windy (very windy) winter and guess what trees split down the middle and did a few hundred thousand dollars damage to said old biddy's "Historical" house. Her insurance adjuster showed up at my buddy's place to get his insurance information because her insurance company was going to approach my buddy's insurance company to sue for damage repairs. My buddy showed the adjuster the paper work of his application, the old biddy's petition and the refused application for removal application from Oak Bay council.
Needless to say the rich old biddy is a few hundred thousand dollars poorer because her insurance refused to pay for the repairs as she was the root cause of the damage.
Justice served, n'est ce pas?
I love stories with happy endings.

Nails just don't work on those keypads, must be the finger itself...

Nope, but we took a Jet Boat ride 54 miles up the river and back. We were picked up at our CG just about a mile up from the mouth. As would happen we were the last two on. We got front row seats just behind the "wet" wind shield. Fortunately I had my camara in a ziploc bag. Earlene and I were wet through and through the undergarments.
It was worth it. I can tell you for sure, and I have pictures, of what a bear does do in the woods.

There are three absolute truths, water is wet, the pope is catholic, and Elvis is dead. Anything else about bears is pure conjecture......unless you have pics.

It is a long known and well documented fact of the RVMdom -that the best sleep occurs in an RV. Plain and Simple!

I've done it before. ...a few years ago....just me alone....no dogs. It was nice. ....no capsizing then, fortunately.

Last canoe float we did, we took Bess dog. She had a life jacket on. I did have to hold her still between my knees and when it got a little bouncier that the average, I squeezed her tight to keep her from moving around and upsetting the canoe.
