Gotta love purple. Might as well, if you can't avoid it.

Well, Sue, where ever we have lived we have had purple, blue or red or pink splats that show evidence of their being enjoyed and their passing. But mostly blue and purple.

But pink splats are the type that will faintly, pinkly speckle the toughest surface for a long time.

Enjoy!

Sandpiper RV, Galveston Island; Pacifica, CA; Tom Sawyer's RV Park, West Memphis; COE, west of Montgomery, AL; Pacific Shores RV Resort, Newport, Oregon; Camp Gulf, Miramar Beach, FL.

Whale watching tour on the Ada C Gore in Eastport, ME; Sault locks, Sault Saint Marie, MI or ON, Newport, RI, State Road 56 out of Madison, IN going east along the Ohio River, US 52 from Cincinnati, OH to South Point, OH then follow State Road 7 to Gallipolis, OH, wander from there to your heart's content.

Now we need more waterside CGs and beauteous waterside roads. Your turn

Steve, there are many waters where I have camped. And most with a tent.

There can never be enough of them! Except if skeeters or black flies or noseeums, etc are present.

Desert-side sites can provide much of the same pleasure and solitude. We have found that out after growing up up in MN and camping mostly in the Midwest.

Water is great. Kitty litter also has benefitial attributes!

I salute what you have catalogued!

Oh my, we used to have a mulberry tree at the house where the boys were born. There were vertical skylight windows facing south... mulberry season always sported the anual bird contest... how dirty can we splat those windows this year... and drunk birds toward the end of the season flying into those windows....

Hee-hee!
I always wondered how many fermented berries constituted a bird buzz.

We tried them while tenting, and found that being on a windy beach, putting 2 or 3 box fans on the table, or going to a bar until the bugs calmed was best. They sneeked in on the seams and corners! Sheesh!
Best wishes on that.

I have relatives who swear by the fan cure, for mosquitos. They set one to blow across the area where they are sitting, and no little blood biters!

We have a screen room, which we put up over the picnic table. You can get one of those for between $100 and $200. They work good to keep the table dry in case of a rain shower, too. We have one that is big enough to put 3 or 4 lawn chairs inside in addition to the table. I don't have any pictures of it, or the new one which is smaller but has an "easy up" style. But trust me they work good!

Just thought I would let you all know that one of the "Greatest Moms in the World" left us this afternoon on a new journey.

She went peacefully and in no pain.

Condolences Big Fella. It is hard to see them go and even harder to see them suffer. It is a great to remember your greatest Mom in the world as slipping away without any pain.
