Wayne, you disappointed me. You missed about 30 good to great comeback lines on the "Are you still up?" posting.
I was expecting something like "At this time of night I'm always up." or "I stay up to keep my wife happy." etcetera etcetera etcetera, (Yule Brenner style a la King and I)

Well, most of the Muteys must have gone to bed early. It's not even dark yet on the west coast.

I see you Becky and Marty. It's nice to have a few more night owls in the bunch. I miss Mike. He was always up late. He had bad insomnia. That's cured now :(

This place has been quiet for 2 days now, I think Diane is having too much fun with her baby Westie. And everyone else is polishing the rainbow.

Nope...been dashing out between rain downpours to mess in my garden... the weeds are really appreciating the rain and I am having troubles keeping up!
That and been getting up early to do the cat gig I have for the week... a dozen cats, 2 are diabetic and need their shots at the same time every morning, 4 litter boxes to clean out and restock, and 12 mouths to feed... and then do it all over again at the end of the day minus the shots.... oh, and tomorrow, I get to vacuum their areas due to tracked clay litter and hair... and clean up hairballs. At least the watering is being done for me!
It's a veritable retirement home for felines... one is blind, and most can't hear anymore... they are all 10-20 years old, boney old cats.

Make that two (2) recent submissions. I finally found some time to give serious thought to the matter.
DW and I celebrate 72 years of wedded bliss tomorrow (June 10th).
Opps! DW just cracked me up side the head. It's 47 years. It only seems like 72. Ouch, slapped silly again. Dang that hurt
Good luck Steve (RVM 2) on creating something that can match GC@CL.

Dennis, I can please some of the people some of the time, but I can't please you all the time.
Go out in the garden and play "possum."

Alright, got the coach out of the shop. Had a bad solenoid on the auxiliary battery disconnect switch. Got that replaced. Had a leveling jack problem and it also was a bad solenoid on the pump. I had to explain to Earlene that there are many solenoids out there. So ladies and gentlemen here is an article you can read up on a Solenoied
Then, had to go to the dentist today. Upper chopper got a split in it. Yes, I wear a falsie. I'll have it back tomorrow at the cost of $400+ some change. I did not know that I would be getting them back that early.
However, tonight we went to the Outback Steak House in Baytown, TX. It was a mini-mini-curiosity with me, Earlene, Jeannie, and Dave indulging in steaks. No bacon - Hmmm, I'll have to fuss at OSH to put that on their menu. I know it didn't happen if there are no pictures but a picture is coming from Jeannie when she gets home. We only had about 45-50 miles and they had over 90 miles. Fair as far as I'm concerned.
Tomorrow we pick up the MH out of storage and start loading. DS #2 and wife will be staying at the house while we are gone. We are hoping to be out of here by Friday and our first stop will be at Jeannie and Dave's pad, literally.
So there is some catch-up.
Dennis, if I'm not amusing you with posts, it's because were busy. I'll catch up again when we are on the road...but then...maybe night time I can throw some words of wisdom your way. Heaven knows you need them.
p.s., don't worry about the teeth, I have an extra pair and they did the steak proud. Pays to be prepared.

Got back from the first trip of the season today and then had to w**k for several hours. The plan is to head off again for a week on the 22nd. W**k will come along on that trip. The trouble with being self-employed is no one pays when you don't w**k.

Kinda reminds me of the story about the two old folks at a fancy restaurant and only the woman is eating. The old guy was being very patient watching his wife eat and when asked why he wasn't eating he replied that it wasn't his turn. A nearby diner heard and offered to pay for his mean if that was the problem. The old guy said "No we have the money, I'm just waiting for my turn to use the teeth."
