Guess it's a number one cause of a fib.

But now that I've had it, it's something to keep an eye on. The cardiologist will discuss the ramifications of whether this is an isolated situation or whether not I'm now more subject to suffering it. Time will tell.
Don, we are so glad you are feeling better. Take care of yourself. Rest. Play with Gunner and Thor. Kiss Sandy. Eat chicken soup. Dwell on things beautiful. You're one in 83 and good RVMs gotta take care of themselves!

Waiting it out may have worked when you were young and had that Superman body, but we aren't as resilient now. PLEASE be more careful. I can only plant so many memorial trees.

Don, serious healing Ohmmmms headed your direction. Listen to Sandee and your doctors and get back into bike racing form ASAP. There's a shadow on your end of the rainbow. I'm ready to see it glowing again.
(Bold part) Especially in Don's case. (Sorry Don, just couldn't resist.)

Very happy to hear that the source has been found and is being treated. Get very well, and soon.

Don - since we talked last night you seem to have found your typing fingers. and that's a good thing. Annie called this morning from mom's and said she and Sandee talked last night so we are caught up on your progress.

So as others have said we have to listen to our bodies more attentively in phase 2 of living and need to be mindful that were a little hard of hearing... pay attention or pay the price - ask my ribs.... :sly:

Well back to the salt mines.
Many Ommms your way bro.

R U an RV Mutant too?

So glad to hear Don is getting the care he needs and is improving! Pretty scary when pneumonia is the good news.

Our Chocolate Moose is ready to check the mirrors and to coach Martin through setting up the toad for its first official job: Click image for larger version

Now that Moose and Martin have done all that, we're on the road -- again -- I-74 west to Knoxville (IL) for the weekend. Yaaaay!

My last task before pulling out was to pick as many of the currants as possible before 10:00. (Just like Daddy -- Mother and I already practically in the car and he'd be out picking whatever tomatoes or beans were ready so as not to let them go to waste. It's in my genes.)

The sun shines bright on our portion of the rainbow today, even with a mostly overcast sky. I wish the same for all Mutants every which-a-where. Ohhhmmms for Don and others who may need them.

Cheers!
Sue
PS: We just saw our old Wrangler on the interstate not too far from home. She-who-bought-it, Nancy, passed us and pulled across in front. Martin gave her the treat of a couple of air horn blasts. Friendly-like. Bet she hit the ragtop!

I'm actually getting the hand of voice typing. I had my iPad and let it transcribe. Not too bad and only had a few manual edits.

Still in the hospital but it looks like should go home today.

I started a new thread about my adventures here

My blood cultures show nothing terribly out of order. Sonogram of heart came back negative for infection around the heart. Will meet cardiologist tomorrow and good chance I'll be released with some meds. I am actually feeling better than I have for a couple days.
Glad to hear you got it under control and are feeling better. It will mess with the heart though, so be watchful, and take all your meds.

That is Priest Gulch campground near Dolores Colorado, about 40 miles from Durango. It is a beautiful place; the prettiest campground we have seen. (That stream is the Dolores river.) Priest Gulch Campground Along the Dolores River Photos

Sarah - you mentioned climbing at altitude being a little less than your usual enthusiastic self - and pondering the DP notion.... serious or just pondering? And where abouts were the strain or stress points along the way. I have not been that way in years.... would love to visit there next year!! The place looks wonderful. Any trout in that river?
