Steve... If you do.... Altitude sickness is comparable to seasickness.... If you wear on of those wrist bands with the pressure points it helps.... Helped Larry. He gets out of breath too.... As to Dp... Stress and strain, He can talk to that.

Just pondering, Steve. We don't use our Bounder enough to justify spending $$$ on a new DP. The Ford did fine on the trip and we were never concerned about whether we had sufficient power. It just got noisy in the cockpit at times.

The altitude at Priest Gulch is 8100 feet, but the road is an easy climb and very scenic. I think 6% grades were the most we encountered. Also, I recommend this time of year for a visit to that area...the temps were PERFECT with 70's in the daytime and high 30's-low 40's at night. It was campfire weather for sure.

We are not into fishing, but the camper next to us was quite enthusiastic about fishing opportunities in the area. The river was moving VERY fast due to spring thaw, so no one was fishing in the campground. I understand that many people return to Priest Gulch every year, and make their reservations a year in advance!

There are great day-trips in the area; we took a couple of Jeep trails and spent a day at Mesa Verde National Park checking out the cliff dwellings, which is about a 50 mile drive.

Steve, Bonita should handle the Co. Mountains fine, we took The Discovery up through them last year pulling a full size Tahoe. Sarah's gas engine which is in the front has to work a little harder than normal to make a 6% grade and therefore makes a lot of noise. Your DP will be working harder as well but the noise will be 38 feet behind you and not as noticeable. I was advised and therefore pass it along to you as we'll, stay off the Million Dollor Highway. Steep and narrow. We did drive it in toad!

Mayby you should ask Ginny 47 to lead a caravan up through those parts next year. She's been over all the flat hills!

'Mornin' all! The Mutanthood is beginning to stir. We're ready for coffee and brekkers (that's breakfast in Martin-speak) with the FMCA local club.

Can't find my official name tag, so guess what ID I'm wearing? Of course! The one from FEGC@CL. Maybe I won't get fined...but I'll have to field a buncha questions!

Di, I'd be happy to come pupsit! Yesterday I met a 4-month-old lilac point Siamese named Tinkerbell. Ohhhh, dearie me! What a sweetie!

I'm in fuzz face withdrawal!

Cheers!
Sue

Glad you are doing well.
Be sure to keep up with everything yourself and ask plenty of
questions. The more you question them the better.

Our experience with DRs. and the DW for the past several years
has taught us many lessons about trusting them.

We went to the ER last year with the DW who had a nose bleed.
The Dr. chastised us for being there.
The DW went to the rest room and I had to help her.
I would not allow her to flush the toilet.
I got the nurse to look at it.
She almost fainted.
It was full of heavy red blood.

The little nose bleed was a major problem due to the blood thinners
she was placed on after open heart surgery. The blood was going
back down her throat and only a little in the front.

DW was admitted and left 3 days later.
She received 4 units of whole blood and 3 units of plasma.
Taken off blood thinners. We shill had arguments with
others Drs. about NO blood thinners after that.
IF we had followed the ER Dr's advice she would have died.

The Hospital CEO got an earful after that.

Hope all goes well.
Only you know how you react to their treatment.
Be sure to let them know.
