I DO NOT HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.... Most of our stays are in military sites, With an occasional state park or COE... Seldom have we stayed in any resorts.... The few were in Florida or Oregon.....
I personally would like to see NM or AZ too.... I loved the Black Hills as well... But have no place I coukd recommend...
I wish there were a way we could see what the other suggestions were? Maybe they could be named on the other place..
I would even volunteer to compile info into a spreadsheet... Ya know as a temp temp....
Anyway, just a thought... Headed out for a week in the Ozark Mtn with limited signals.... Think Deliverance...
When we get back i will be glad to compile ALL OF THOSE FANTASTICK SITE SUGGESTIONS.

Did you journal your trip with paints? I'm so poor with landscapes that I think I'd make a poor journal, but it will still be good fun.
Here are a couple from FL: Attachment 67217
Attachment 67219
And another:

It's amazing how much better you remember a place if you've sketched or painted a place than if you've taken pics.
Cheers!

No, no journal. I was teaching each at sea day, two lessons a day, and the in port days i was a tour excursion host, got the tours free that way... ...had to rely on camera....

2015 is a big one for DW and I as we are planning to be in southern Oregon (Chiloquin to be exact) to play trains for a week or so and that will take us up the end of June. The whole thing is over on the 28th so any time in July in the Pacific Northwet would be fine with us.
BTW we are in the picture below, a free coffee to the first one who figures out which couple is us.

Well...skyrig is doing fine after a 10 day visit to the Spartan factory where the chassis was hatched. New shocks, air bags, wheel seals, fluids and stuff like that all done.
As I posted earlier...no satellite for us for the next few days. My back feels better already. LOL

We would have loved to explore the west side of Michigan. Lots of strong recommendations from Michiganders for places along the east coast of Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, we got waylaid by my illness and our rather long stay at Spartan.
But...IT IS ALL GOOD!

Yep! There's a really nice CG just outside the gates of Bryce Canyon National Park called Ruby's Inn CG and they have a hotel with meeting rooms next door. The elevation is high 7,777' so their summer season is shorter than most places, which could work to our advantage.
I'm assuming that it's ok to use the word "work" in this context without it being considered blasphemy or cussing? Forgive me if I have offended anyone.

I hereby apologize to the general Mutanthood for not suggesting places for the SEGC or Son of .... I'd love it to be held in the Midwest, but that hardly seems fair, since AR was in our area. Either west or east would be more appropriate, and we aren't familiar with either, in terms of resorts. I'll be happy to help where I can in other ways.
Far far west prolly won't work for us, but west is appealing. We might come straight from the winter in south FL rather than from IL, depending on the date.
How wonderful to be thinking about another Grand Curiosity! I'm already thinking of good bacon recipes to share.
Cheers!
Sue

No need for apologies...
When I talked to Toyduck some time back we both agreed that while we had been to many parks - we had never really been looking at amenities for a group... just bumping along on our own seeing the rainbow and not concentrating on how would we serve libations to 40 - or have a bacon challenge. LOL.
So we will mutate our way into this. Give it time. When we call to make a group reservation - or better still call for bids - the CGs will get in a bidding war to have us stay there! 👍👍

Oooh! A bidding war! I love a good bidding war! Especially when they're fighting over us!

I just love all this excitement about the SOGC! You can almost hear the hum of a finely tuned mutant planning machine.

Yes - but let us not forget that we chased mutants away with all the FEGC @ CL chatter before. For those using the Web form @ www.rvmutants.com - I looked at them today - saved them and will get a list together from that. Once I have a few more - I create a new Webpage and list them. That way we can all review them outside the thread.
But you are correct sir - there is a a certain hum in the RVMDom!

Wow ! I was thinking they were already spoiling the new grand...
Well maybe my phone will ring in the next day or so. If not - I may have to disturb their peace.
Thanks for the update Marty - I haven't gotten to Facebook yet - maybe when I retire...
