Say what ya will about the heat of summer. But tell me - what does winter have to offer that provides such a great break from the weather?

Love the taste of salted WM, but don't like the after-burp.

Sounds like you need to take a leisurely drive to the Oregon Coast. Today on beautiful Lake Erie, its 94 in the shade. Feels like AZ, but twice as humid. The dew point is over 75.

Trying to think of the last time I had a snow cone and just drawing a blank. I do remember when I had my last ice cream cone. It was on a first date at Quartzite. We went there every anniversary after for quite a few years.

So much mutant pondering going on here. That watermelon sure looks good. We just haven't had much luck getting tasty watermelons this year. In fact we have had to discard 2 for being too green to eat. Seems they took away the seeds and flavor at the same time.
Snow cones are perfect at any time, if it isn't colder than the snow cone outside.

Found the perfect gift for my wife to give me for the upcoming birthday. An Art Deco Sno-Cone machine.

61 in Newport Oregon, love the cool breeze compared to Southern California. MH have wheels for a reason.

I knew his brother Bill Deco.
Ours is probably less expensive - a Hawaiian Ice machine. It doesn't make "snow" but does a good job. Their syrup is tasty.

Pondering. Today I ventured out into the forum and away from the RVMdom. It was a thread on driving / actually turning but it made me ponder. Why is there so much discussion on driving our mutant machines? I prefer the DP to the car. So my pondering led me to the old Zen saying.

"If you walk, just walk. If you sit, just sit; but whatever you do, don't wobble."

My mutant ponder is to rework the thought to RVing. If driving, just drive. If turning, just turn; but whatever you do, don't run over anyone.

The whole idea of displaying an "attitude" in driving large vehicles seems like the same idea behind burning rubber in front of your high school back in the day. It has little to do with driving and more to do with creating a sense of self that is unnecessary for the true mutant.

Bill never gets the credit for anything. Brother Art made it to the big show before slipping into obscurity.

That Sno-Cone machine in the picture is only $30. If it was expensive, I'd probably not see it at my birthday party.

That's cause ya got yers $ tied up in fine woodwork, and I suspect one heck of a shop to go with that house. When they sell and you hit the road - treat yourself!! I'm sure you probably have a specialty cabinet already installed for it.

Once ya get outta cold country you'll be glad ya have it.
