It's peach season here! No need to cook them... but they are great also grilled with pork tenderloin on a skewer with some peppers and onions...and, if ya just got to make the house hot... pie , crumble, and cobbler is pretty tasty too...

edited... ummm, yes... forgot the streusel and strudel too....

Yes! That season when the local produce of peaches, tomatos, sweet corn, beets, sweet onions, cherries, on and on, are perfect and cheap!

I think it should be declared OM-NOM season. Love it

The engineer in me says they discovered items they could use to create fire, but common sense says it was maybe all just a coincidence.

I love the beach... I have 2 kites and have been online shopping for another - maybe a dragon kite. Some of the big ones (not dragons) I'm looking at are out of my price range... but there are some smaller parafoils that are calling my name. The beach is a great place to fly...

I don't know which two I should give my sympathies to.

However, way-to-go!

Buncha buncha mutants! Hey, y'all look a lot like some folks we met in Hot Springs in April. Any relation?

And in today's times - going to walmart, be back soon. (Or Lowes or Home Depot)

More likely by accident. Dropped a piece of meat into the fire - to hot to take it out - cooled down - they got hungry and said what the heck - and then there was cooked meat.

Ummm! Good! Some on in a CG recently told me how they cooked ears of corn. Leave the hull on, put one ear in the microwave for 4 minutes (I do 3 ears for 6 minutes) When the MW is done take the corn out and cut about 1/2-3/4" inces from the stem end. Grab the silk and pull the entire shell off the corn - silk and all comes off. Might have to squeeze the silk end to get it started. Good, tasty, juicy, hot, blah, blah, blah.
