You are on the right track, Barb. I understood that you would bring a cake with another baby in it, but if there were leftovers the cake would be on you, as in the STMs make you wear it. I think I got that right. 😉

And cheers to you my dear for your valiant and benevolent work for your dear friends. ❤️Glad Don is recovering so well. 👍👏✌️

So it is now OK for rope light fanatics to come out of the closet? All along I've been watching the rope light market, and it has been brisk. Available (imported of course) all over the Internet, with the occasional back order due to heavy demand. If you specify a 500' spool, you get a big discount. Of course the LED style is still a tad pricey, but the low energy draw allows for much longer runs.

Chasing, or sequential lights, festoon colors, etc (for the aging hippy who might still have a few synapses to recall) are gaining popularity. Has anyone tried a rope light clothes line for night laundry display? Just a thought.

Post 1 here had to do with all that I did not have and did not need. 😉😙Rope lights was one of them, and I made them a secret Tongus in Cheekus conversation piece, and a wonderment for RVMs, by declaring I hated them. 😈And the game was afoot from then on. 😄

And then the GC evolved and the Kimono Opening and then a mascot distribution system and such, whereby I then designed:
Attachment 70219

....but I actually had 36 ft of Ropus Lightus long before the GC due to living in Packrat Land ala Kitty Litter aka AZ Desert....and then a lady name Gwen came into our lives....so stopped at CW in Rogers MN this trip for another 36 ft!!!!

So, with all this being brought to light (pun intended) and in the true "seriousness" if Grandus Poobahsus,
I hereby declare an official edict that Ropus Lightus is hereby proclaimed to be NIFTY!
Anything that keeps Ratus Chewbaccaus from eating our rainbow riding machines is most nifty and useful too...!

Sanctioned but not required - let each mutant according to his or her own desires live upon and freely travel the rainbow, with or without Rope Lightus...

Got an E-mail today, Catherine's Landing wants us back!

Well me, at least, but if everyone promises to be real quite I'll try to sneak you in, all of you! I feel so honored!

True. But if ya have Ropus Lightus, white is infinitely better than multi-colored. 😇
Especially for those of us with a touch of OCD, as the colors are not in perfect sequence order; an intollerable condition for sure! 😬

Whoop whoop! Everybody put your hands together for Mr. Tim! Good job, you!

C'n we really come along too? You have to sneak us in? We were that bad, huh?

Maybe we could "happen" w/o the thunderstorm this time? (Although that did make it memorable!) I'd go back in a narcosecond. It was a great choice of gathering spot.

Cheers!
Sue

What, gluten intolerant and OCD too??? You tryin' to be perfect, er what?

A youngster I met once, one who made absolutely perfect yarn even as a beginner, told the group it was partly she had OCD. Although, she added, shouldn't that be CDO?

We'll put your rope lights in alphabetical order, shall we? Or would you prefer them in Rainbow order?

Ceehrs!
