Wayne, at least you're not having to pay for it this time. I knew there was no way Power Gear/Kwille was going to pay for it. As far as the beeping goes. Have the sensors been checked? Maybe a loose wire somewhere.

Oh, man, you are evil!!! Unless you are sharing, of course!

My son says he never smells a blown out match but what he thinks of our camping when he was little. I was always up before the boys and lit the stove to make coffee and then breakfast.

Toast and BACON. (Sorry for shouting. I got overexcited.)

Cheers!

Hey, is RVM2 tied to desk with rope lights? And is he lit as well? Brilliant.

This mutant is hangin' out at home (east central IL) tending the weeds and tweaking the new Rigatoni, ready for travel at any time.

Announcement:
A Curiosity may be happ'nin' in central IL very soon. Maybe next weekend. Anyone in the area is welcome to join us. Look up D&W RV Park near Champaign for the location and PM either Sky_Boss or me for details.

Cheers all!

When I showed this to Sparky he broke down and cried. A RVM mascot without an RV is a sad thing. Sparky says there's a Motorhome retirement center for displaced mascots but can't remember where it's located. He gets junk mail for it and said he would forward info.

Sparky and Mort are more emotional than Rocky.

Rocky looked at Sparky and Mort, and did not even shrug or blink.

Stoned may have done the same.

Sena may have blinked, but not shrugged.

Mort! Let go of that door. You are a chikin. Make us proud!

Dave - in their defense, they are considerably younger than Rocky.

I do think it's interesting that RV mascots are rather popular. Not so much the dogs, cats, birds and monkeys. Lots of flamingos - there is a group on iRV2 that has Pond Piggies (a "plushy" fish I believe they adopted at rally at a place with a large carp pond) - but Mort, Sparky etc. they are a great addition to the "conversation starter kit".

In defense of the Airstream chicken coop, to me it seems a bit high on the hog, but then we are getting close to being back to bacon, I dont know if Dunner will still be in Phoenix come November but we will be in Apache Junction, could have a small conflagration/curiosity of mutants then, and we'll be there until we head to Yuma in Feb. I'd love to meet in IL, but we have to get to Sedona before Sept. and I think we will be spending about six weeks there just sightseeing and we are really looking forward to that.

Oh and another thing, when you cook bacon in the morning to wake up the other campers, the key is to not share or even have extra coffee available its more a form of camper torture ... but we aren't camping either we are just extending our kitchen area ...

One thing I really dont miss is spending 4 hours each week mowing the weeds in my former yard, and I know for a fact I wont miss the time each fall removing the mower deck to put on the snow blower as well, no more shoveling and blowing for me yay !!!!

As far as a mascot, the DW and I have decided we are going to try and find a stuffed Beaver. It seems the only appropriate mascot that I can think of.

Sorry to read about those of you that are still attached to your desk chairs, When the DW retired last July 27th I closed down my business and thats when we began preparing for our life on the road in earnest, and now that we are just six weeks into it, we know that we made the right choice . Its just one of those things you can feel in your gut, and we arent looking back at all. All we are thinking about is those two-lanes of freedom that we can see out of our windshield.

Cheers !!!

P.S. We could get some of Sticky Letters and Numbers and put your RVM # on the lower right corner of the windshield ?

Now you're talking the first RVM micro-curiosity! Wish we could.

Yup. I'm feeling a little forlorn at the moment. Mort hasn't left his room since I drove away at noon. Just got back after 4 grueling hours of orientation with the new owner.

It really was a nice coach but for a few small things.

Onward and upward. Stay tuned for the next adventure in coach shopping.
