Tim, you should build your cabin like a floating house. Attach slip rings to it and use the poles to secure it. The floating house will rise and fall with the water like a floating pier.
Problem solved.
I'll send you my design for $0.02 USD.

Sound off mutants - let is know your still among the living and where and how things are on your part of the rainbow.

Today I have to eventually make it to Bonita. Need a pic of the weight sheet in the kitchen cabinet. Have a call Thursday with Alternative Resources to fill out the vehicle registration forms. For some reason SD needs that - dry weight - not a certified weight from a scale to figure motorhome fee.
Steve, that is probably on your title. I didn't have to take any pics to get my SD plates.

I would like to propose a small addition to the stringent RVM membership requirements -- I feel me need to impose a mandatory weekly check in agreement on all current and future Muteys. Too many have simply gone missing. Can someone please bring that up at the next executive board meeting?

She's bringing me, and I'm a full time project. She does read a lot and keeps Pintres (sp) and hgtv handy at all times trying to keep me busy. The design of the baby quilt was her own design coming about from the material she had on hand. Hard to see but each strip was from some sort of baby oriented material. I suggested camo, ducks, deer and tractor patterns but was overruled!

Guess now we will have to watch the weather for a hurricane visit on East coast! The Discovery dosnt have a storm cellar so I'm hoping we won't need one!

Les due to budget restraints we at this time are unable to submit requested design fee, BUT any and all suggestions are considered from those present and holding Tools in hand at project site. Lol

Speaking of missing mutants, has anyone heard from Muddypaws and Kscruse by any other form of communication. Had some really good pepper poppers the other day, but not as good as those Don fixed at the GC!

Heading out tomorrow for 3 days to a spot new to us, but less than an hour away. Supposed to be really hot temps! Was not too happy yesterday p.m. as everything except AC was working in the trailer. Finally figured out that the electrical plug (30 amp hookup to the house) was just slightly pulled out of the socket, enough juice to run everything except AC. When I pushed it in all the way, AC fired right up.

Ha ha....we got all loaded dog and all....went to close the door and the steps would not retract....no motor noise indicating it was even trying... Checked the fuse...still no....so he unhooked the wires and bungee'd them up.now he'll have a project to keep him occupied while I fish! I foresee a stop at the branson wall mart for a step stool.... Cheers... We are rolling!

It may be a Class A requirement Barb - but Karen at Alternative resources was adamant on the requirement for the UVW which is only on the sticker.... I have a call scheduled to walk through the paperwork with her on Thursday. When we fly up we only need to get the DL - she will have our license plates waiting for us. They sure make it easy.

Hello Mutey's

RVM #39 checking in hot humid and muggy today, but Marcia's friend Kathy is coming up from Indiana today with some classic coney dogs from Ft. Wayne. My mom is still dealing with health issues and #2 son dealing with issues that give his parents lots of headaches but we will persevere. Soon we will head north for a 10 day party and then back to Indiana.

Cheers !!!

Glad you figured it out Tina, no AC is no fun. Marty if you have time check out the sight and sound theater, the set and cast is amazing! Jeff around here the back roads are full of trucks and trailers all heading to fix up deer stands and duck blinds. One cool crisp morning will send half the state into some pre hunt season convulsions!

Elizabeth, after we heard there was 14 miles of roads in Oceans Wave park we decided to bring our bikes. Could be a long walk to some events! Our you can rent a golf cart. Not sure how good the parking will be at event center. Just a thought.
