I love your picture Marty. The 1 I use was taken the last day of the GC@CL - it was sitting on the table - we were getting ready to go - and Annie brought my sun glasses.. the rest is history.

I think going forward - I would hold the black ones back for actual GC goers - past and present - Papaw Steve is concerned about the value of the mugs and I want to do what I can to preserve that...

BTW, yes, I had a problem with the city water connector and had it replaced. I watched intently when the repair person put it on. It is a simple, under 30 minute, job. My particular fitting on the back side was a simple screw-on connector. No clips, no slip rings, just the simple 3/4 inch PEX connector.

So yep! Been there done that. Earlene has not named this MH "Citrus" for nothing. That fitting was one of the simpler fixes.

Tomorrow we drive the rental car and the Honda to storage - then the Honda and Bonita to the shop. Then the Honda back to storage to get the rental car - and drive them both to the shop. Drop off the Honda and head for home. About 140 miles in all. Geesh. It will be so nice to have the tow bar set up and ready to roll.

The carpenter called today and will try to drop by the shop to see the wood and measure for cockpit valances for the MCD shades going in. We are set up for them on 9/28.

That will about do it for Bonita. We will be down to getting ourselves all legal with South Dakota. And of course getting the casa closed up. Made good progress today.

I knew you knew Wayne! Truth is though - Citrus is giving you a pretty good summer rainbow ride!!! And I'm sure glad for you. You deserve it - and even though village idiot struck with propane levels - I sure wish cool weather was a problem I had about now. It has been repressive and excessive in heat here lately. to you and Ms Tx City Wayne.

So it looks like everyone's been busy posting here today. Dwayne I tried to call you back, may try again tomorrow.

Don,surprised it lasted as long as it did.lol

Marty, your kind words on my mechanical ability were nice. Now you didn't get me and Dwayne confused did you, we are both strikingly handsome men but my hair was longer. Lol

Bama we would have alerted you to the IRV2 National Rally but since it had not one but several threads of its own, thought you might already knew. Might try to sneak in, it's a big place!

Steve got your text, but late and with dead battery, catch you tomorrow.

Now for what I did today, oldest son and 4 yo grand surfing. By end of day grandson was surfing by himself lying down. When I say surfing I mean the wake/wave was pushing the board and not being pulled by rope. Can't imagine what he will be doing in a couple of summers

Things not to do with this thread -- accidentally sign up for weekly updates. It shows 397 posts made to this thread between 8/25 and 8/31. Talk about a waste of data allowance! Geesh, I read it daily. It was insulting to see them all on 1 email.

Naw....I certainly know the difference between you two....but if you don't think you are up to helping Elizabeth...I'm sure there will be others tripping over themselves with lots of helpful advice....just wanted to direct her to someone we know and trust who is really helpful.
