I was told the Miata was driven by those who wanted a Viper but couldn't afford the $200K.

Was that the new top in the passenger seat?
Yes. He is the most patient person... however, he could take the day off himself and get it inspected and registered.... as it is, all our vehicles and house are in my name ...vehicles are because he doesn't want to take the day off and go stand in line.... and house because day before the signing party when we moved here, he fell off the~ 12ft. high loft in our garage and hit the cement floor, breaking off the hook piece that holds the forearm bones in his elbow.
He will be disappointed I overslept. inspection station close to here only open until noon....

If you order and have it delivered, you don't pay sales tax, if you pick up you do.
Those are the exact recliners we're interested in, and in the two sizes! We want to order them in the same ultraleather color that's on the couch we are replacing. I hate the jackknife couch - recliners are much more comfy.

Thanks for the great information. I love that mutants are so helpful.

Or the exhilaration of driving what was once (if memory serves) the fastest production car of the day... something the Miata was never confused with. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

They are NOT light. They come in at about 95# for the larger one. I really hated our jackknife also. Don't miss it one bit. If you are replacing a 72" jackknife see if you can get information on the weight. I'm guessing that the 2 recliners could way as much as 50# more than the jackknife...that is according to the dudes that took my jackknife out. LOL

We really like the Ultraleather too. So far it appears to be easy to keep clean.

This one is nice... I think the Miata may be the better choice for MLC... (Mid Life Crisis - not to be confused with Mutant Life Crisis)

I had a similar crisis when I was forty. I bought a Corvette and it only lasted one road trip Sault Ste Marie Ontario to Pontiac Silverdome and return.

I learned the location of every roadside rest area between those two points and the Corvette was gone by the following Friday.

The MI interstates at 75 in a 'vette are kidney killers.

Of course nothing to do with the "refreshments" at the Silverdome.....

The Carpenter stopped by this afternoon. Moonrover was unavailable - so we went with a local guy. We will report on his work when completed. He will build and install the valances around the cockpit MCD shades. He went by the shop today and went through Bonita to asses the wood and take measurements.

Bonitas appointment at MCD is 9/28... we keep moving forward and along. 11/7 can't get here soon enough...
