Now now! I did not email anyone any pictures. So if you think there is preferential treatment you need to speak to Earlene and get on HER email list. It's HER pecking order.

Dennis, you need to stop telling people the things we talk about or email to each other or you are going to get into a lot of trouble.....fer sure!

p.s., Steve, I don't care what Dennis has said about you to me, I think you are okay.

New subject: We are in Shawano, WI (see rvillage for location) and tomorrow we move on to Apple Valley, Lebanon Hills CG - Hey DieselTech39 - only 35 miles South of you. We'll be there 5 nights.

We had a scare on the road today when the air gauges read 75 pounds and holding. I found a spot on US-2 in Michigan and pulled over. I got out and did a walk around and heard a loud air leak behind the dirver's side rear wheels. Got on the ground and found the air leak. Didn't know what the heck it was so called Freightliner. Shut the engine down - no leaking air. Gave a description of it to Freightliner and they said it was the pressure release whatchamacallit. They gave me the address of a freightliner dealer on my route about 85 miles away. As long as I could maintain 75 PSI I should be okay and to watch the gauges.

Started it up while they were on the phone and the pressure built up to 125 PSI - no leak. Go figure. Made it to the Freightliner place and the service writer crawled under with me and identified it as the pressure release valve. Said that maybe there was a blockage in the line. Seemed fine now. Could put it in the shop and they would check all the lines for a blockage (don't think so). Said it should be okay since it was holding pressure.

The valve comes off the side of the air dryer. When I originally checked it there was a mushy foam substance on the valve and a little road grime. Slight oily substance. I asked the phone guy if I could pull it off and he said yes. Some day I'll learn how to take pictures to show. Maybe tomorrow morning.

Anyhonw, made it without any further incidents to our present location constantly keeping an eye on the guages.

^^^^ Interesting Wayne... keep us informed of situation. Glad it was (or so far is) nothing serious. I imagine all of us with air watch those two gauges as much as any...

Be safe.

But where ya been the rest of the day? ;-)

Sue - have ya seen Gilligan out there anywhere.

Tim - what in the world is the Poobah talking about - coughing cows.... we have laughing cow cheese sometimes...

Herb - watch yer fingers messing with the slides. Probably too late - but don't read Waynes post about air - you seem to be replicating his issues.

Dwayne - good luck on the hunt.
