Ok Steve, I understand the idea of getting everything checked out before you take to the Rainbow on a permanent basis, but it does make you seem a little like a glutton for punishment.

Here's to hoping you have run out of such fun tests. It's painful just to hear about you going thru them.

The best news is that they will pay you ALL the back pay you have missed. I actually got the $ into my acct before I found out I had been approved. I was thinking somebody made a BIG mistake. It was a happy day when I learned I got to keep it. Congrats!

Even better than the monthly checks is the fact that after 24 months on SSI disability you now qualify for MEDICARE!!! For me it was having health insurance again after 2.5 years without. That allowed me to get my new knees and meds I could afford. Good luck deciding which plan to sign up for if you want to add a Medicare advantage plan and Part D drug coverage.

I checked out AOK and it was the last thing on the list - other than dental...

Everything is checked out, and all systems go. So despite my sedate life - not one single doctor has told me anything but - get active - eat better - drop some weight and you will be able to rid yourself of the few maintenance meds you're on. Doing that is another thing - but I am pointing that direction with a positive attitude.

So here is something I have noticed over the years. I still pretty much see the young me in the mirror. I almost recognize the old guy looking back at me in the mirror. I know it not uncommon for thin people with eating disorders to see themselves as overweight. Some heavy people see themselves as thin and shove themselves into short shorts and halter tops...

But the funniest of all are those who have both knees replaced and every tooth in their head worked on at one time - calling others glutton for punishment for routine maintenance.

I wish more mutants had come to the rally. Mutants are very kind and tolerant people. Unfortunately, not everyone is. Even so, we are having a blast and love hearing the surf at night while we drift off to dreamland.

I am sending a wave of Luv and Understanding - Perception and Awareness - and a heaping wave of Peaceful Ommms over the rally.

Tip O the Hat.

No deer! Going to be a rough Winter eating beans. Is it because you haven't seen them yet, or the aim was off. Hee hee!

Glad to hear that your quest for SSI has come to an end and you will be getting your just due. Pay off the bike, buty a newer whatever.

No, it's the darn shirt. I told Earlene I shouldn't wear it.

Earlene said she was wearing sandals, not boots.

In all actuallity, when she comes out and says, "Does this blouse make me look fat," she knows my reply will be, "No, the blouse doesn't make you look fat, the fat makes you look fat." I guess the same applies to me.

One day we were getting ready to go out. As usual, and with most men, I was dressed and ready to go. She saw me and said, "You can't wear that!" I said, "What," and she replied, "That tie does not go with that shirt."

I asked her to come pick one out for me so I could 'get it right.' She did. Several minutes later she came out all dressed and ready to go and said, "How do I look?" Now I'm the guy who can't dress himself and I'm supposed to tell her how she looks.

You definitely know what the correct response is, right?

We saw Noah at the Sight and Sound Theater and it was so realistic you could smell the animals! Our it could have been the bus load of octagenerians setting in front of us!

Was warned not to set too low for Jonah, otherwise you're shoes could get wet.

Thanks for the review, we've been wanting to see Jonah.
