Too bad the obituaries don't list all the property that will soon be for sale. (Oh, shame on me for saying that)

We lost a mutant last May. I have emailed his girlfriend to see if she has sold his Moho. I'll let you know when I hear back from her.

LOl... I think he Dunnerized a lot of stuff in his MOHO... Might be really good deal, might not. He was a dune buggy fanatic of sorts.... and liked to boondock on the beach with his buddies.... His motto was if Dunner can't fix it, no body can. He liked to machine parts and stuff too...and modify whatever it was he used to machine stuff also to make new stuff....If I recall some of his posts form other threads....

Hey that's a great idea Barb. If Dunners MOHO hasn't been sold already that just might be a great option for Mel to look at. You know Dunner customized who knows what in it plus Mel it is already been Mutantized by Dunner!

Hey Dunner we miss ya brother!

Regardless if you visit them or not PPL Rv sales web sit will list the units it has sold over the past two years along with the price they sold for. This along with NADA will give you some idea of value in a used unit. ALWAYS TRY FOR LeSS! You can always go up if needed. Don't deal like a girl, deal like a b---h (female canine). Ask for everything, extended warranty, road assistance, etc. if they throw it in good, don't pay extra for it. Practice walking toward your car while dealing, that makes them nerves. I live foe the games they play, I know their tricks, friends in sales for years!

I'm sure Mel and Kate would love to have a big strong mutant help em with everything from negotiating to installing new ultraleather on the sofas etc. Come on down Tim. You can base out of our place and help us get our things moved to storage. Roof over your head - three squares... it'll be a blast.

PPL Motorhomes

It's nice to just look also, eh?

Well, our top contender (1998 Holiday Rambler Endeavor) sold before I had a chance to get out there to see it.

And I have a work obligation on Saturday, so can't make the trip to see the other coaches. The next weekend I will go. And yes, I'm looking at all the RV brokers on the web, including PPL and Motor Home Specialists. We'll find one, hopefully sooner than later.

There is no way we could make Rockport in November, sad to say. I am still building up PTO at work after having used it all up with my knee surgery. That, and the fact that we may or may not have a coach then.

Still, I am going to Alvarado the 1st weekend of October to look.
Mutants, keep your fingers and toes crossed for us!

Mel

Tim, you're THE MAN, dude! You crack me up. I will heed your advice, since I did ask for advice! I will deal like a female canine and smile at the sales staff through my gritted teeth. Will it help if I growl at them a little?

I will ask for everything we want. And if I don't get enough of what I we want, I will head to the car and drive away. Now, I may drive around the corner, pull off the road and cry like a girl, but I won't let those sons of female canines see me! HA!!!

Wanna meet me in Alvarado weekend after next? You might wanna see this ....

Your pal Don sounds like a man after my own heart!

So sorry to hear about the Mutant who crossed the Rainbow in May. If you hear from his girlfriend about his MH, let em know.

Thanks!

There are very few things in life that I'm in control of, especially since I retired, but when I buy and what I buy, I'm in charge. These salesmen are trained beyond belief to ask questions and tag team you with sales managers till you sign and if your not careful they will have you driving away going those guys were great. I've had a sales manager, that's a friend of mine, intentionally give me new salespeople to put through the paces in an effort to toughen them up.

I don't buy often but I try to always get my money's worth!

I'd love to come meet you and help BUT I'm on baby watch. Have grand child due soon! Lol

If we decide to buy it, there would be some quick re-upholstering going on in that coach.

The thing it does not have that we don't want or need (as full-fledged RVMs) is an outdoor kitchen. That's why God created fire rings and grills.

Anyway, sure would love to hear more about your coach!

We put about 15,000 on it so far and have officially fulltimed in it for one year. No major problems, but some expenses. Just be sure to check the floor underneath the carpet under the drivers and passenger windows. They are famous for rotting there, I have personal experience on this issue.

Dave - I wish I had bookmarked the thread - or place you posted the demo pics... that was instructional 😎
