Good looking girls there, daughter and prize-winning dog both. Daughter wins by a head, though. Aren't you super proud of them both?

Welcome back. We've missed your smart alecky self around these parts!

Thanks, Sue. It is good to be "home". Gotta say I hope Dwayne has a zipline to get down from that tree.

Another couple things are checked off the list...
Vehicles registered and SD paper plates are in the mail - and full timer insurance is set. ID cards with 11/1 effective dates are being set up and mailed.

Happy Days are just ahead... 18 working days... but who's counting.

Datura - Jimson Weed
Whatcha think?

"All species of Datura have long been used by native peoples of the Southwest in puberty and other ceremonies because of the plant's halucinogenic alkaloids. People trying to imitate Native American ways have often poisoned themselves, sometimes fatally."

The Sacred Datura blossom has long captivated artists and poets. It appears in paintings by the famed artist Georgia O’Keefe. It may have been the plant she had in mind when she said, “When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment.”

One of three I have staked out!

Easier prey when tied to a stake.
Makes sense to me, Tim.
Easy-peasy! 😉

He feeds em corn... and ties em to a stake and takes a full season to get the three he's allowed... and calls it hunting.

Truly i dont care who eats what... Just dont make me.... Had to wait until I was 50 to be able to choose what meats were cooked in my home..... And surprisingly Larry and I are in total agreement as to what we like......
