Gotta try and sleep. Driving with bro & sil to Kingsland tomorrow evening. (5 hour drive.) Bro leaving early with his pickup full of furniture and new stuff for their lake house; sil and I driving my car down after work. Something tells me I had better take a pillow in the car!

Looking at some coaches in New Braunfels and Austin on Saturday.

Hi Tim!

My quiet night ended at 4:45 am when the train whistles started blowing at a nearby crossing. Where's the earplugs?

You and Mary enjoy those beaches! May the Rainbow see you safely on your journey.

[QUOTE=Diwizi;2252357]Papa Steve.

A political map shows states, counties, etc.... Here are our versions... The US map was given to us by my son, pricey, the lower one, the world map, i bought, mounted to foam core and framed... Then glued my magnets... I have too many magnets for our US travels, so took some old road maps, used matte medium to glue onto a metal backing from HomeDepot, and used as magnet board..... I also have 2 travel journals, one for travel, one for rv travels...

Attachment 75501

Btw... How is your tooth?

Tooth is just fine. Simple filling, not numbing shots.

I like my map because I am hopelessly anal retentive when it comes to being organized. The map tells me at a glance, and reminds me, that I'm having one hell of a good time in my retirement. Map makes it unnecessary to remember a bunch of stuff. I look at the map and the light bulb goes off saying "oh yeah".

I like your version of a "brilliant" idea. All of my ideas are brilliant. LOL

I goofed, i said Pensacola.... It is actually south of Destin, not too far above Panama City.... See the map there are several great state parks, too.... We drove to PC several times to eat, there are a coupke of restaurants there now that are native Arkansans, i just have gone blank on wch ones.....

Enjoy.... It was worth it to Larry to sit and wartch the dolphins from his chair in the rv. Tgey are pull in sites so you can see the water. He found this one, not me....
