I'm sorry but it was Mel that asked where you get your sense of humor from. May still be time to edit...

Where did you get your sense of humor? You dwelleth in the right side of your brain. Mercy, we need more of your kind.
Gotta try and sleep. Driving with bro & sil to Kingsland tomorrow evening. (5 hour drive.) Bro leaving early with his pickup full of furniture and new stuff for their lake house; sil and I driving my car down after work. Something tells me I had better take a pillow in the car!
Looking at some coaches in New Braunfels and Austin on Saturday.

You are sure busy, Mel.
A pillow, coffee.....more coffee. 😁
My humor does not have an origin that I know of, perhaps a homogenized spewing of Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams and Monty Python (et al). And I have no control over it. It got more free-form after retiring, when my mind reverted to the perfect age: 14
RVMdom, I suspect, has an influence on us all. Lots of unique humor from lots of STMs!!😃

oh... and another favorite from when I was a child... some oil pumps! Ever since a child when I saw one painted and decorated like a grasshopper out in a field doing it's thing... I always have been amused in my mind by them thinking of them as really big grasshoppers and crickets....

Marty - she left off my personal favorite - sitting in motorhome under an overpass some here between Hays and Ellis watching hail the size of goose eggs pound the ground while tornadoes are popping up all around you and storm spotters running up and down the highway like they were at Disneyland!!

My Flashback: 1986
Looking at my pic library. Found some from our true boondocking days, 1977 to 1990!
Why we dont boondock anymore!
The original Camp Daven. 1/4 mile down a logging road to the middle of our 40 acres. All equipment, supplies, water etc had to be hauled in on a 3x3 foot push cart. Water from the neighboring farm. Cooking mostly on the fire, but coffee and pizza in the apartment size propane stove. Pit toilet.
Housing: a 1959 Winnebago 16-ft camper, suitable for 4; kids in the cab-over.
A 5-hour drive!
Trout stream 1/4 mile.
Lake Superior, 2 miles.
Pub, 3-miles.
Most weekends and a 3-week vacation every August, ending Labor day.
Absolute peace and freedom!
