Hello Muties!
Looking at those folks I think I'll stick to hunting with a gun. Thankfully the men and women like me ( the true heros in life ) remove by harvesting thousands of possible car crash obstacles from the country side! Lol

How bout this as a proposal - since I can't really dig deep into a son of GC - until Dec... how about late April - Catherine's Landing - for a FEGC@CL Redux - and then a Son of like late August Early September somewhere - and as many Mini/Midi/Jumbo - Cs as mutantly possible.

I only suggest this because -
1) I have as many suggestions for CL as I do for anywhere - more really because I have multiple mutants saying they would love to go there again..

2) I have to pass that way in the spring to get to Illinois

3) It doesn't need much researching - just dates really.

4) We might be able to have Paul Byrd Band back by popular demand encore...

And Ed could turn tail and run to the Dreamers Rally. Which BTW I have long watched there activity and don't blame ya for the interest!

Let me hear it folks - any seconds for a Redux in late April @ CL? Then a Son of GC elsewhere TBD when I land in THE RGV??

I LOVE THIS AND VOTE YES
It just makes sense to not make it complicated at this point....

Mainly because......
1 it is a set date for those of us planners, then we can all be more aware of looking for future locations
2 it was nice and we all seemed to like it, the facilities are good
3 it had a good numbers attending, so it is accessible to a lot, not all, sorry thise of you up in the corners
4 it gives us time to still do summer plans, coming or going from winter, too.....

I Do suggest we TRY our best to simplify....
Lets not make this hard an anyone, poor Annie worked her fingers off... I felt badly that she did so much... But i felt Bad anyway...
Ready to enjoy this one more

Think someone mentioned clustering rather than stringing out lakeside... Since it was backin, and couldnt see water from front, i woukd prefer to be clustered... Better for pulling chairs up... But gotta rethink shade?

Lets try to potluck more or have a set theme for each meal. I will be glad to contribute for main dish...

Luau for biggie, then bbq night, burger night, mexican night, casserole night, leftover night, super sandwich night
And we missed the out to eat night... Cause we had to leave

Another watercolor class?
I missed the fix it that Dwayne did, i forgot that one, i wanted to go
Would love to learn or share others hobbies or interests.
Would like to see something each day, just maybe i will even zip this year....
Also missed Garvan Gardens, which are really great....

April is after spring breaks and before summer vacations...

Yes vote here...

Would be great if the GC could be the prior week allowing Jackie and I to have another mega vacation. We would plan on attending....

So would April 20 - 24 2015 work?????????

It might - I would have to check on their availability and on price of 1 week vs discounted daily rate for a group. Some of us may want the full week anyway...

Hey All !!!!

Marcia and I really liked CL but if its in April we would have to miss it simply because my daughter will be graduating from nursing school that month. But we will try to make any following curiosities that may happen. Once we get her through school we would like to head to Hays, KS to stop in at Camp Don and Colleen and then start back toward MI for time with family again. But being mutant we can always adjust our plans.

Cheers !!!

OH YEAH!!! For all those reasons and what Di says as well. And we can get to CL on our way home to IL from FL.

Anyone want to make silk paper? Real silk, the resulting "paper" used for cards, boxes, framing, jewelry.... Easy, messy, fun, colorful, beautiful. I can teach that.

Kayaking should be a possibility this year for me. I was sad to be unable last time. Are there rentals available for others?

Sue--jittering in anticipation! Life is good!

Hey guys just remember last year we came in the week "after" racing season was over which was why they had no problem accommodating our large numbers. Soooo, if we back up much we may get into that problem because they were booked out the week before.

Rez if it were the week after your rally would that work too?
