You can stay at I believe American RV park west of town. It's across the street from CW and a Walmart isn't too far off. (note: a member from Australia had their "parked rig and corvette on trailer" stolen from there). We stayed there when we bought our Bounder in ABQ. Not particularly scenic - but convenient for picking up needed things while doing a short shakedown for a day or two to be sure your in good shape. Ya never said - dealer or private sale?

The mutation to a new RV sounds very curious, without the basics. Hopefully you fly by way of an airline which won't over charge you on your linens and cooking pots. Oh my, how would you manage to trim your needs to such slim supplies. Oh and I would need my pillow. They make those bags you can vacuum the air out of your pillows. I used some of those last year when we went to Goshen to get our 5er, but we had the truck to use for transport, and didn't have to fit stuff in a suitcase. Best of luck on your choices of needs versus wants.

If a Mutant gets a new rig, he needs ignition keys and a wad of $.

Well, I hear there are grocery stores all over the place.
Beverages, hot dogs, various breads and condiments, etc.

Do you know that you can buy pre-cooked bacon?

You did pack a string of rope lights, right?

Wishing you the very best, dogpatch.
Git er dun, bring er home!

The timing was not good as it was 5:05pm on Saturday, and no tires available until Monday. Guess we need to think about roadside assistance ins. Umm we had a free 1 year of coach net but since we didn't have an RV for 9 months of that year we never had any reason to use it. So mutants, what company is cost effective?
Don't know about cost effective, but in 2011 we had a real bad year, ending up using AAA 8 times between the MH and the toad. Longest wait was 2 hours (in a state campground in the mountains) and always treated real good. We have all our vehicles covered, MH, jeep, ptcruiser, and 2 MC's. $150.00.

Have heard good comments about others though.

I use PhotoFiltre, a free photo program which does a number of things (and is still easy to understand). You can find it at SnapFiles freeware and shareware downloads and reviews, trusted for quality since 1997

I used to buy the pre-cooked bacon. Compared to real bacon, it tastes like bacon flavored plastic.
