Found out tonight that about 3am this morning a 62yo woman that had been out active, healthy and visiting with others only hours earlier had a heart attack and died. They had only had their new MH a couple weeks and was on their first trip. They were parked just a few sites down from us and we had only exchanged hello's while walking. None of us know when our time comes.

I think hearing about people our age or younger making an exit is the hardest thing for us to wrap our minds around. I can remember when I was in my 20s reading an obituary for a 62 yo and thinking, well, at least they had a good long life. Now that I'm 63, hearing about Tim's neighbor, I think, oh, how tragic. Everything is relevant to us based on where we are at the time. And I no longer see my age as old, but that doesn't mean I'll turn down a senior discount.

Is there room for a couple more RVMs? We just bought a 2000 Damon Challenger and are thrilled to be getting back on the road May 17 of 2015. We were fulltimers for a long time in three different towables before medical issues required hanging up the keys. After 5 years, those problems are pretty much behind us so it's time to get back on the road. Hence the older MH named Waylon whose toad is named (what else?) Willy.

What we have is a great marriage (a requirement for being cooped up together so much in a tin box); a passion for RVing; no extra money and no bills to pay; two old she-cats who were raised in a 5W and 2 TTs.

What do we need? Six new tires, but we expect to have those in the spring; the sound of the ocean outside our bedroom window; cool breezes in the summer on the Oregon coast instead of 105 with 98% humidity like we have in Houston. That about covers it.

Thanks! Y'all be safe.

New RVM's sure we can use them but be warned the requirements are strenuous ! With mutants it's not what you have but what you don't have and don't miss!

Second is just a simple declaration that "The Journey is the Destination "

Well you certainly have the qualifications to join us in the RVMDOM - so nothing left but the formalities...

Tell us a thing or two the new to you Damon doesn't have and you don't miss (electric door locks maybe, hot tub for example).

And - declare the Journey is the Destination.

With that you will be free to roam the rainbow, with all the rights and privileges of RVM94...

We are awaiting your test results... and look forward to learning more about you and the Damon!!

Well, let's see. Hmmm....The Damon doesn't have a pool and we don't miss it; the Damon doesn't have a dishwasher and we don't miss it; the Damon doesn't have cabinets full of crystal and china and we don't miss them. We're both 75, so there's not much we need - just each other and those old cats.

My test results came back negative. I'm not pregnant!

I'm Bev; Art is the blue-eyed Canadian I share elbow room with; Heidi and Ginger are those old cats.

Thanks....RVM94
