10/17 - I don't know if you're keeping up or not - but that's the day I retire... and on Nov 7th we head toward our Dec 1st date with the Rio Grande Valley for the winter. HELLO RETIREMENT - Hello Full time.
Next year we plan to winter in AZ. Watch for my PM..

Hey RVM10! Good to hear from ya.
If luck can shine on me and Nola we will hook up with you folks. We could have a Mini-Curiosity that would make the RVMs wish they were us!
Check back in more often, eh?
Come to think of it, Tonopah aint too far away!!!!

A good banjo is one that cost a lot of money I suppose - getting music outta one is a other story...

First drive

Well, folks, I drove a motor coach for the first time this afternoon. What a kick! Loved it! It was a 38' 2000 Monaco Diplomat with air bag suspension, air brakes, 325 Cummins engine. I drove it maybe 8 or 9 miles and made some tight turns, several stops and starts, and got it up to 75 on the interstate before I could say "diesel pusher"! Lots of power. 75 was like we were creeping along!

Steve tells me to drive everything I look at, just for comparisons sake. Good idea.

Still love the Discovery layout best.

Fingers crossed we can find our coach in time to make it to CL in April. There's a strong contender in Ft. Worth. Looking at it next weekend. Kate has a conference and I'm going test-driving.

High fives all 'round!

Mel

Duh... the long-haired hippy freak.

I can't talk. In high school, I had long, straight hair half-way down my back, wore hip-hugger jeans and leather jackets with fringe, carried my guitar slung over my back ... and dreamed of San Francisco.

Or worse yet - nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

Steve liked the filter system install, was just wondering is the Red Devil hooked in to take care of that extra dusty water?

More proof Mary reads the thread more than she lets on. Today out of the blue when I asked her a question she responded, That's right Cleator! -Thanks
