Don't forget to take your name tags with you, and wear them. I'm going to ask the Pobah's to impose a fine for anyone who has one and is not wearing their name tag.

Who's going that doesn't have one?

Dave, I'll wager that you have the same sign in you house that I have in mine. It reads like this:

"I am master of this house. Whatever my wife says shall be done"

Oh for cryin' out loud. You have to hold your arms out when you walk so we can see if you are rolling or waddling! Sheesh!

I'm going to intersperse my comments between paragraphs. We are so happy that you are enjoying "Hot Mamma." Or was that "Hoe Mamma."

Kate drove behind me. I pulled off twice at rest stops just to stretch my knee. We sat at the table in the coach and ate lunch at one of those stops. We're still pinching ourselves. Got to the storage facility around 4:45 and backed her in lickety split. Piece of cake. So much easier than maneuvering the travel trailer.

Question on the storage. Is it covered storage or open storage. I covered it is better to pull in and not back in. Pulling in keeps the front window out of the sun, and even with the curtains closed the heat is tremendous. Also, if the tires get any sunlight consider buying some inexpensive wheel covers. Walmart even has some and they may be 22.5".

We'll be taking her out this weekend for our first camping trip. Probably will head up to Caprock Canyons State Park. It's only a couple of hours from us and a beautiful place.

Thanks, everyone, for the woots. I can't keep up on this thread. You miss a day or two and you're 6 pages behind! So welcome all new Muties. Glad you found the Mutants! This is a teriffic group. Hope to meet you all in the future ... maybe at Catherine's Landing in April!

We have our mascot. Will post a picture later. Still working on a name for our Rainbow Rider.
Mel
Personally, 311 miles is a long run. Glad to see you made some rest stops and stretched the legs. Just remember that anywhere along the route can be a rest stop even if only for a short break and stretch of the legs. You don't have to find an "Official" rest stop. Any parking space will do. If an officer of the law comes along and questions you, just tell him you were tired and needed a break. After all, what's he going to do, tell you to move on?

Woot, woot, woot, woot!

Are you kiddin'???? The ONLY name for Mel's MoHo would be:

"Best Little Hoe House in Texas"

I don't know how to say that in more words ...

Except that maybe it should have a neon sign ...

You know, I've been thinkin' 'bout the LRGV especially since I can't be at Rockport to see that you and Annie are properly hitched and launched.

Besides, Rockport's gonna have some of the most mutated mutants there so it's gotta be a good time!

Thanks for the Ommms. We've already conquered Tachycardia, Atrial Flutter, High Blood Pressure and shingles. We'll knock out the slipped disc in November (send more ommms on the 14th) and I'll have 'um all straightened out again and can get back to my mutation meditations.

Changing habits, you wouldn't be thinking of changing sides and getting religious would you??

I had that pass through my alleged mind too. Although JNE's moniker fits perfectly.

It's late. Good grief. Why am I still up? I just drove a motorhome for the first time (more than 6 miles) and did 311 miles. I'm pooped! See y'all in the funny papers!

Strange that but Denise and I like to plan our trips at between 300 and 350 miles per day. Makes it very relaxing and we can squeeze in extra touristy traps we happen across; Wall SD for instance.

Jne Ohhmmss from the warm Pacific Northwet aimed at you and yours from us'uns up here. I've conquered the high blood pressure thing and back surgery is a piece of cake. Had three-four-five fused and was up walking and sent home post haste on afternoon of day two. I think the doctor took me seriously when I told him there was no way in hell I was missing our best friends 50th anniversary no how. Hope everything works out for you.

Ohmmssssssssssssssss
