I don't have the original on file - but do have this one...
Congrats Larry - While others wished - you took the unicorn by the horn and earned it 25k the right way!!

Smoker: I don't have to do it but if the weather is nice - a smoker is a good place to gather. There will be a breeze in one direction or another - so you can keep out of the smoke Wayne..

Hey Sky_Boss - you reading Don...
Watching NCIS tonight - McGee came up with Rule 70... Don't stop digging until you reach bottom.

Ok..... Are you teasing me? Hard to tell in text...
Charcoal, electric, gas.... Does it matter? It's all in the wood smoke....

And i agree gather is the key word.....

Sure hope they get us all close....

Ritz are fancy... Saltines are basic....

A little... but the blood work in a few months will tell the story....until then, no dairy and no grains.

No way am I smoking anything day 1... lol... We're coming down from Blanco State Park - about 185 miles on the 14th as well. And no plan to leave at the crack of dawn either. About the same distance and time from Port Isabel.

So yes - you really are ahead of me on what to do on "opening night". And it is getting dark earlier all the time.

I say we roll in as we can - and around dinner time - those with a hankering can go for dinner somewhere..

I know Marty may be arriving a day late and leaving a day or so early --- and I want her and Bob to be in our Pre-Thanksgiving Day Feast...
Hi Ho Marty - when do you come in...??? Depart???

Friday 11/14 - let's go out for dinner somewhere - nothing fancy - whoever is there and wants to...

Saturday 11/15 -

Sunday 11/16 -

Monday 11/17

Tuesday 11/18

Wednesday 11/19

Thursday 11/20

Friday 11/21 - we move to Lagoons in Rockport

Quote and Fill in ideas or places and suggestions.

Another thing. Bob will be flying one day - and offering rides to those under a certain weight with a certain attitude and grit!

that all depends on the weather.....and the magic number he doesn't want to go above is 250# for a passenger.
I'm guessing we will get there the 15th, Sat. There is room for wiggles in leaving...but my reservation ends the 20 or 21, don't quite remember.

Some folks are snobs about smoking - I was just playing. But my smoker is not electric - wood and coals - only.

And as I am not GF - I can do Ritz - Saltines - Gold Fish - Table Water - Waverly Wafers - etc - so bring em on!! About 95% of the time my tongue is in cheek and I certainly don't feel strongly about much. Although I am now able to say that without a doubt; I have tried working and tried retired. Retired is better. On this I am adamant. to those who arrived before me!
