Mini-c, mini-c! We are meeting up with Don & Sandee for pizza this afternoon before they continue their rainbow ride tomorrow. Lots of yakking in store, I foresee. We'll get to catch up on their floor-versus-slides tale and see how Sandee's dad is getting along, and Sandee herself as well. It's been a busy time for them. Yak, yak, yak.

Wonder if I can get bacon on my pizza....? Can I talk with my mouth full? Who's going to eat the crusts?

Just the bacon, ma'am, just the bacon.

Good morning, muteable friends. Especially Wayne, since we'll be next door neighbors in April, and I have to keep on his good side. Which is your good side, Wayne? Oh I forgot: round doesn't have a side, does it? 😘

Di from my experience 3 rigs of Texans is certainly enough to scatter plenty of bull hockey so you might want to carry a slicker with you! Lol

My good side will be the side that you can see the MH on, so it will be your right side as my good side. I don't hold a grudge, but I do have payback skills.

You are so lucky, you get to see us 3 times in almost 1 year.

We return you to your regular scheduled thread.

What rousing morning of mutant musings that was!!

We are up to our ears in elephants again. And Annie still isn't feeling well. So flu shot or not - the timing is awful and the coincidence is remarkable.

Awww, Annie! So sorry the elephants have got you down! Steve, can't you lure them away with peanuts or something? Maybe packing peanuts will work....

Healing Oohhhms to Annie! Stay well Steve you don't need that stuff.
That's why we do not do flu shots anymore. Then I read just a couple of days ago an article by the head of Johns Hopkins epidemiology saying that flu shots were a big hype by the govt. and big drug companies. This doc said flu shots are more likely to give you the flu than keep it away from you. He claims research shows that, and it has been surpressed by big drug companies.

For every report that says nay...there is another that says yeah....I only had the shots when I was required to when working in home health and hospitals....I think I've only had respiratory flu once since not taking shots...in the last 14 years. But for elderly folks with compromised immune systems it is still a good deal I believe.

Thanks to all for the well wishes to my sweet one. You that have met her, know how lucky I am. We have been down many a road in our 15 years together, but this going full time is a whole new ball game. Lol.

Wow. We are so happy to be doing this - and it is so liberating. But it is work - time consuming - sometimes gut wrenching - sometimes fun - and really - really exciting. It's almost like going off to college or when I joined or left the Air Force. Putting one life behind you. Shooting toward an unknown and exciting life ahead. The big difference is we aren't wet behind the ears or broke. Heck we've only had Bonita 2 years. She hasn't had time to break us yet!! Well back to making progress...
