R U an RV Mutant too?

About the flu....
I had live-virus shots in the Navy in the 70s. Got the flu mildly each time. I quit flu shots post Navy!
I got the flu at age 55. 10 days in bed. Afraid I would die, and sometimes afraid I would NOT die.
The shots are now dead-virus. Nasal inhaler is live-virus.
Have had dead-virus flu shots since with no problem. I may not live thru the flu the next time.
Remember Steve's episode last year? 😳😬
Everyone makes a choice.

This year is flu shot and shingles shot.
I have seen enough older folks suffer horribly from shingles, some more than once.
Ever had the mumps?

Chickenpox for shingle -
Had mumps on right side only. Had measles.

Took a lot of things in the late 60's - not sure but think I may have smoked some shingles once.

Get well Annie! OHMMMMMmmmmsssssssszzzzzzz.

I've still got bandaids from the flu and shingles vaccinations I had installed in my upper arm this afternoon. I just spent a week with Mama watchin' her suffer with shingles. Thankfully y'all Ohmed her and now she's somewhat better, but shingles are persistent and painful little boogers. Dodge 'um if you can!

Hey, if you are one of the mutants who have one of my paintings, as my youngest son says "it is worth more now" just got notice of an acceptance into the 45th Annual Juried Exhibition of the Mid-Southern Watercolorists which will be at the Arkansas Arts Center, February 13, 2015 until April 12, 2015. This is my 7th time in my 11 years if painting.... I took the inspiration photo on the old Vegas strip.... Click image for larger version

Congrats Di, maybe some of the early arriving mutants can Jorney to the Arts Center for a viewing. Good job!

Had me worried as I read your post, was afraid the value was rising because you got bad health news! Worked out good!
