RVM1 checking in.

Our time "off the grid" is done. And Saint Andrews, NB was wonderful. The extra 30% or so in higher prices for fuel and food and such was worth it. But, a good Jedi could get his light saber near fully discharged up there purdy quick.

Hop-scotching our way back to PA, so will not be able to catch up soon, because HOLY COW THE RVM THREAD HAS GONE WILD!!!

The tides are as expected: FREEKIN AWESOME!!!

And I saw not one string of rope lights on the CA side. Honest! Go figure. Please!

A few pics and I'm on my way, folks. I will be back at you soon!

Here is high and low tide in Saint Andrews, and a few more.

Dave and Nola.

Up here in Canucksville, we have registration for the RV plus insurance. Reg is only about $112. Insurance on the other hand costs me about $112 a month per year.
Yes, tags = license plates ... A yearly event, but normally the old metal plates are not new, just the little cheap sticker in the corner is new. Last year I wanted new plates because the old ones were getting scuzzy looking. Cost a bit more to have the prisoners make new ones. In Illinois, former governors help stamp out the plates.

Using Safari on iPad, is there a way to eliminate adverts? I use AdBlocker Plus with Safari on Windows and get no adverts but can't figure how to do it on iPad. I installed AdBlocker from the App Store but it comes up as a separate application, not a Safari add on.

Search me. I'm not on it long enough to notice. I only go there for a minute or two when necessary , otherwise I use the app exclusively.

Less smoke that way.

As stated - you are getting them and other things not visible on app - contributor for example. The thing I would like most to have on app is a thank you button - but for all I know there is one but my old iPhone doesn't support it. Not sure if there are versions of app based on OS or not.

Maybe some former presidents should help them out someday.

Are any RVMs going to the IRV2 rally in Amana next month. I don't want to be a lone mutant. You need two light sabers for the desired visual affect...

We will be passing by there enroute to family time in Illinois. But won't be stopping in. We aren't much on that kind of thing. Have fun!

A curiosity by any other name is simply not... Or, maybe it is... Ponder at will.

RVM36 here ... and signed up for the rally. I'll be working on a windshield sign for La Bella Rigatoni. (She could have been christened La Bella Toscana, as she is a Tuscany.) Lights (rope or not) maybe, but no sabers on board. Hey! A duel with rope lights?

"A curiosity by any other name is simply not... Or, maybe it is... Ponder at will."

As IOCN for this thread (Instigator Of Curiosities, Nonelected), I hereby declare and decree that there shall be at least one Curiosity happening at the forthcoming iRV2 rally. A minimum of 2 members shall be present. Maximum unlimited. Notes or minutes shall not be taken or kept. Ya gotta be there!

Who else is in? Does this make us the in crowd?

Cheers!

Sue
