Steve,

Before committing your major data dollars to ATT, you might want to compare the coverage areas to Verizon's. I've heard many dissatisfied accounts.

Good luck with that.
Good one, Ken! Made me laugh out loud!

Only Livingston Texas - Escapees - allows for Personal Mail Box as legal residence. Several choices in SD and we really liked the looks of Sioux Falls SD. Plus I like to day Minnehaha. And, it proved to be a very nice place. Even enjoyed the dried corn fields of Iowa as we drove to the Casino.

I know the Texans will disagree with me on this - but SD hospitality puts Texas hospitality to shame. Texans b and moan about out of staters coming to Texas. In SD they make it easy to become a resident whether ya live there or not and everyone is glad to see you. And that's just the start of it...

All things considered - ya can go full time using your brothers cats name and address on Timbuk3 - but I like SD and have been there many times. They seem to want full timers there and that worked for us. Now the issues they are having with health care is a shame - but I suspect it will work out. For us - we're covered by Tricare and if I find I need it - my company retiree plan from Aetna.

We are closer still. Turned in the Cable Boxes today, took some old metal to the gold and silver exchange... change of address cards turned in, last minute items from the bike shop. And Annie stayed home and packed up a bathroom and a more things. Progress..!!
Makes me tired thinking about everything you've had to do in preparation. Btw, is your address still good (will they forward your mail for a while)? I keep forgetting to send you a check for the postage on the books. I am really learning a lot reading them. Thanks again!

Can't believe you are days away from launch!!! Congrats! Woot woot!!!

Mel - I will text you our new Address etc. If you use it that will keep it from being forwarded from TX to SD. Yeah. Forgetting - that's the ticket and the story you're going with. Ha. Believe me - I know you just bought baby and have bigger fish to fry and less money to fry em with.... lol...

Send when you can. It will eventually get to me.

We found yesterday that Verizon's coverage map is spectacularly inaccurate in our area. Dunno about other places. ATT is now our choice for the Apple devices and PC at a significant reduction in price from our previous situation. Martin has outlined that earlier on this thread, if anyone is interested. YMMV.

That's pretty much the latest I've been hearing too. For - now and due to time constraints, I am on the line with Verizon now - and simplify rolling the Millenecom over to straight Verizon. It outs me back where we were before the Mcom went toes up...
No contract - so cxl anytime. And we can regroup and revisit when we settle in down at RGV.

That is what we did.... Mainly because we are not FT, we have comcast at hone, and can start and stop to V pkan on month to month.... Mi have okd phobe pkan with unlimited DATA. Yes, i dont dare change that one. We have to maintain a landline because Larrys ICD (in his chest) is wifi and reads that way....

Steve, just put art stuff in rv... Are you really ready to learn to watercolor paint.... Sue and I can get you going....

WAYNE... Is now saying my mouth is as big as his.... Or his mouth is as big as mine...

Ok rest break over....

How does tying a rock to a note and heaving it through the windshield of Bonita constitute a secret address?

Di-
Not sure if I am ready to learn to water color or not - but I am ready to try... lol.

No comment on Waynes mouth....

Hi Wayne... c'ya soon. I still haven't found / selected a fishing guide. Gonna wing it - for now. Either arrange it next week - or week after at Blanco or on the fly in Rockport. Can't wait to get rolling... still busting hump to get outta here.

The storage unit manager let us have until the morning to move Bonita. The RV park is fine letting us roll in tomorrow.

The movers come Wednesday. My BIL comes tomorrow or Sunday to tear down the beds. It's getting closer all the time!!

Hmm.... wonder what these goodies are for...
