Oops! Too late to edit! I've been gently reminded that it's Jay and Andrea I should have been talkin' at. Izzat "The Kids"? My apologies! Senior Day, never mind Senior Moment!

She's still a beaut, and I wish you many happy miles together.

RVM 86 here, I've been silent on this thread and a bit more active over on RVillage Mutants group. We are hanging in Red Bay completing improvements to the sleigh, got to ready for the season. GC in AR is on my calendar, but we will be way west of there in March, darn this country is wide, not to mention tall. We will watch for Mutants locations as we start to move (maybe next week). We will be in Livingston TX Dec 15 to 20 and Jan 6 to 15 (out of the country altogether in between). Then heading toward AZ.

Love it when a plan comes together. A little tired to run off to the casino tonight. Maybe in the morning. Flight isn't until 5:20 pm tomorrow. May just sleep in. It's nice to have this out of the way! Hard to believe we will be moving into Bonita this Friday and hitting the road a week after that. Still much to do but you mutants keep us rolling toward Rockport, the RGV and on to CL GC1.2 Redux and a GC 2.0 TBD
Was there a particular agency/company that you did this with?

Darn message lost in translation er. . . edit. RVM 86 here. WE are in Red Bay AL for another week or so making improvements and repairs to the sleigh. We will be drifting west following that and north south drift will be determined by reading the tea leaves - or the weather guesses, DW really likes it warm. We would love to meet any mutants along the way. The current plan is Bentoville then someplace in LA and by Dec 15 Livingston TX where the coach will stay until Jan 15 2015. We will be away - out of the country 12/21 to 1/5. Then we continue westward drift. North/South determination in made by reading the entrails of a weather report. Photocoach - my much better half - is allergic to cold. That will happen if you spend the first 60+ years of your life in Rochester NY

I'll give it a shot.
Ya got some stuff fixed.
NY cold affects yer DW like MN cold does to me.
You will eventually head to AZ. FYI, a few RVMs will be in Yuma after 1/1.
And you want to see what I will have under my Kimono in April.
That about it?
Cheers

We did all the prework and mail forwarding with Dakota Post (Formerly Alternative Resources). Used Dougherty and Associates for vehicle insurance.

You do have to go to The Department of Motor Vehicles for drivers license and County Treasure if you want personalized plates. They sent us plates and we relinquished them at the Treasure office for paper tags. No drivers license - no Vanity plate - regular plate was OK. Go figure.

I recommend Dakota Post - Dougherty And Associates - and we liked Sioux Falls. We would not winter there though lol

Did you intentionally leave Bacon out of your post or just oversight. Otherwise - got it. Stay safe and of course warm!

You go Tom. Keep on improving.

Steve and Annie, may a sense of joy, an aura of calm, and a feeling of relief overcome your concerns for Tom's well being, your feeling of exhaustion from preparing for FT, and your occasional second guessing for going FT. We're thinking of you guys.

Now I have to turn my attention to Monday Night Football. GO COLTS

Sue - many apologies - my intentions were most noble and heartfelt... lol.

The kids deserve what they get... we buy em books and laptops and send em to college and overnight em money and they pop in every now and then expecting us to welcome em like we did when they crashed the GC@CL.... I tell ya. KIDS these days.

(Kidding Jay and Andrea. But we do miss seeing those foodie pics and what not.)

Attn: all SOUP LOVING RVMs...

My dear wife Nola got this recipe from a neighbor in MN ca 1982.

Creamed Tomato Soup!!!

It is part if dinner tonight, and when she brought out the recipe I knew I simply MUST share it here!

We grew about 24 plants each season and canned about 100 qts each Fall. The soup was great whether made from fresh or canned (jars or store bought).

The KEY ingredient was baking soda, which neutralized the acid so the cream would not curdle. (FYI, the recipe says milk or half n half, but Nola always used CREAM)!

It is in this pic of the recipe. The spots on the paper are evidence of how much the recipe was used.
