Just 'cause Diane said to do it:
(Live Oak) the Sun was just over the tree top - so a little glare.
I could not get back far enough to get the whole tree in. It was planted by the previous owner in 1964. I told Earlene that if I cut it down I could park the MH in the back yard. There were some words to the affect that there would be some cutting alright, but it wouldn't be the tree.

RVM 18 your correct I am glad the political ads are over. We don 't have Tv at the S and B. But getting all that stuff in the mail is a joke. Can you believe it, in the Rv will have 4 TV's now what I am I going to do with all them. My Mom always said that tv will fry your brain. But Bd 2 feels he can't live with out it to watch all his Arnold movies.

Standing under it, looking up at the branches was magical.... I could envision a hammock way up high, where you could just be part of the tree.... Larry said it was as interesting as the octopus tree in Oregon.... Thank you for sharing it, Wayne.... If you are in the area, dont miss it..... Even if Wayne isnt there.......... Lol.... Drive by and take a look see....

Nice tree Wayne!

So we have no new word on Tom this morning.

As Barb said - it's a raining in Texas and not just a little. Since middle of night and still... so of course we're having to adjust our packing plans.

HB Mel, yes Scorpios must be a special breed. I too is one hahahaha. I can confess I ate turkey bacon this morning with my eggs and toast. And yes don't forget the grits. BD2 is from Alabama. So grits is a staple around our pad. This old calif girl as finally got used to it.

Hi Bev!
I believe Bev is referring to the Rum cake that was pictured back aways... Perhaps Earlene made the cake? Too far back to remember! It was reported tasty though!

Apple Dapple Rum Cake -- sorry no bacon (I know, I know. Maybe next time with the bacon. I'll speak to the good cook)
I think this is it... I was intrigued by the design on the sides too... oops... had to go back and steal the picture as quoting the post didn't get it...
