the last one was way harder then it looked the back tires was in the air about 2 feet and a rock wall 3 inches from my drivers door. don't try this at home folks. the noise was the brakes. but they are fine.

Felt the same about the ribs. They kept falling off the bone though... I kept eating.

Annie is feeling ill and we were both exhausted. Been napping the day away. Still have some things to do at apartment before turning keys in and heading to Rockport.

Thanks for asking Dennis!! 😀

Thanks Possum - we're not quite there yet but soon. Right now there is still work and Annie has barf syndrome. Hopefully nothing but nerves and stress - some +++ with dad and move and some --- as we near freedom. It's really a pretty emotional time. It's not like we are off on vacation lol. We have done what others before us have done - tossed away a lifelong way of and outlook on living for a new one. Head spinning is probably normal I imagine.

Steve, are you sure you wouldn't rather get the local stations for wherever you are at the time? Or are you planning to make fun of all those fools who winter in Souix Falls when the snow is measured in feet? I guess living in tornado alley most of my life taught me to keep an eye on the weather at all times.

BTW We're in ROCKPORT. Are Ya jealous? Don't be. It's still raining and windy here. Hurry on down!

We were lucky and got a 9 am appointment today with a neurologist! We took X-ray information we had from a few weeks ago for a second opinion and use that as part of the neurological work up.

The good news is that there is no evidence that Gunny's problems are neurological. We did order up a DNA test to possibly rule out Degenerative Myelopathy and will get those results in a couple weeks.

After consultation with orthopedics it appears we are dealing with the hip dysplasia we know about and perhaps some arthritic changes through out the hips. He could also be a tad more lame because of a couple recent falls.

The end result is that we will go to 100 mg of derremaxx for the next 5 days then down to 75 mg. We will also increase the Tramadol dose from 100 mg to 150 mg 3 times a day. We will also continue with the glucosamine regiment. Finally we will add 1000 mg of Omega 3 to his diet. The Omega 3 is known by most to be good for skin conditions but also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Thanks for letting me vent/worry out loud too.

Hi Barb - are you at Drifters? Or hanging out elsewhere?

I have all the places I'm interested in weather in Weather Bug and get alerts for weather everywhere including Rockport.

Our interest in Sioux Falls is more directed at learning about the place, business and attitudes. Bad news is - while I have had Dallas channels in other places - I can't receive the Sioux Falls Channels in Dallas area. Spent time with the Dish folks today and they said all my settings - signals etc were correct - and sometimes - some places just don't work...

It looks like the rain lifts sometime tomorrow. But still a little cloudy and about 70 degrees.

Am tickled that it isn't neurological that you know about... and hopefully getting his inflammation down will help immensely!
