We don't use them on ours. Driver's side is the widest that comes out (24") and is designed not to need them. Thinking if you did, it might not seal as tight on top and could leak.

I know there is because my spousal unit finds it every morning... and sometimes I wake up when he rolls out... then promptly fall back into my deepest sleep cycle!

Bladder woke me up, but I'm so addicted to this thread I had to check for new posts. Went back to sleep and just woke up again. I may need a morning nap, tho. It is Sunday, isn't it?

We don't have a toy hauler like you do but we do not use them. We have two slide outs. One is 12 or so feet long and the other is 23 feet long. Never had thoughts that we needed them.

However, when in the jacks down auto mode the stability may not be quite enough when the automatic process is complete. If you are walking around and you feel the coach jiggle a little, turn on the jacks and just bump them up a little. That usually helps us. Many times in the leveling process one side could be level so when the jacks bump the sensors tell the controller that the coach is level. Walking around on the inside may cause some movement. That is when I'll bump the jacks down a little stabilizing the coach.

Happy trails.
