We don't have a toy hauler like you do but we do not use them. We have two slide outs. One is 12 or so feet long and the other is 23 feet long. Never had thoughts that we needed them.

However, when in the jacks down auto mode the stability may not be quite enough when the automatic process is complete. If you are walking around and you feel the coach jiggle a little, turn on the jacks and just bump them up a little. That usually helps us. Many times in the leveling process one side could be level so when the jacks bump the sensors tell the controller that the coach is level. Walking around on the inside may cause some movement. That is when I'll bump the jacks down a little stabilizing the coach.

Happy trails.

It's all in the training Les. You're training has a bit longer to go but you will be in fine form when the time comes.

Ditto!!! When I went back to work after 7 weeks of medical leave, I found it nearly impossible to keep up. So, what I've decided to do is read the last 2 or 3 pages when I can and then jump in.

Believe me, we appreciate this STM family more than we can ever express. Many of you guided us through to the purchase of our first MH, even going to check out several for us! Wayne & Earlene checked out the one we eventually bought. And we are LOVING it!!! It doesn't have some of the fancy upgrades, but it has everything we need, is clean and well cared for (a couple of minor cosmetic blems will eventually be repaired), is very comfortable (I got the leather couches and captains chairs I wanted) and yes, still nameless. We have narrowed it down to 4 names and will let you know when we have a winner. ;-)

We are really looking forward to meeting up with those of you who will be at CL in April!

Until then, keep on mutating!

Mel

Is it politically correct to mention that I did go to school there?

Hey there BD1 and BD2!
DANGER: This has been covered on iRV2 a lot.
The risk of slide damage is very high if you use add-on jacks, as RV settling and or buffeting winds will wreak havoc. Your slides we designed to be self supporting.

I can't keep up at all. This thread mutates so much I just post something random and more likely than not it is on topic.

OK who changed the rules???

When did it become mandatory to have a topic to stick too while we mutate?

Sheessh.

Topic? Mandatory? Rules?
I cannot even conjure-up nor ponder-up even a reasonable facimile thereof.
Now "sheesh", on the other hand (where I also have 5 fingers) always seems to be on topic....along with "oh, that's where I put the darn thing" and "sheesh I already bought another one!"
Howsomever, the aforementioned will not preclude the "Opening of the Kimono (redux)" nor pre-reveal the amazing, magical, awesome, and downright nifty surpise contents therein held. Get thee to CL 4/16-22!
And thats all I have to say about that...fer now

How about you hold a mutant vote on your final 2 or 3 choices? Or whenever you come to a crossroad where you can't make a final decision between the 2 of you?

We'd love to help! (Take that however you like! &#128536

I'm dyin' to find out!
