We have an older class a gasser and make several trips during the year from our Lubbock base.

While I am still employed, my wife retired 3 years ago. I look forward to retirement in a few years.

Our motor home does not have a washer dryer, multiple slides, an extra bath but we don't miss them.

It does allow us to load our two spoiled dogs Pete and Moosie.

We've discovered some time ago that the journey is the destination!

DCHeck, WELCOME to RVMville. You are now free to wander the Rainbow as long as your service tray is stowed in its full upright position.
If my mutated and muddled mind is correct (no STM comments, please) you are RVM99 (pending verification of the trusty temps at RVM Central.

Hey RVMs, please WELCOME DCHeck to RVMdom!
Woot!

Well, DCHeck! Welcome! A finer application I can't remember... nice and concise... I believe TheGrand Poobah or Grand Potentate will be along shortly to bestow a magical RVM number upon you! Feel free to roam the rainbow until then!

Jne,

We were almost top heavy with texans but being number two has abdicated up to South Dakota it may be passable to have a replacement Texan added to the mix. Of course this rant is coming from 25% of the Kanukistan contingent.

My son was a tiny tot when this happened. He came into our bedroom to say his roof was leaking from the storm. What he should have said most of it was missing.

Well, that ran a cold chill through me! Considering we have a cold front about to blast through... kind of wishing we left today for Texas....

Dave - I'm pretty sure Badlands was last to join as RV98 but don't know who RVM97 is off the top of my head. If you are 97 - please ring in.

For the moment I agree - DCHeck of Lubbock is RVM99 - LOL...
Welcome aboard.

From where I used to live at (122 Johnston) to where the Fitzgerald went down was a tad over 40 miles. I have never seen winds that strong before in my life.

I hope I never do again.

Been there, went to school there, lived and worked there. Done with that. Nice place to visit.

We just a minute ago escaped into MO...while chewing bacon jerky. Is that good or is it from the frying pan into the fire? Time will tell.

Sikeston tonight? Blytheville? Or better yet: New Madrid again, where we can sleep atop the fault line. 🙀

I can confirm that Badlands is indeed RVM97 and DCHeck should be bestowed the RVM98 moniker. I have an email in my sent file welcoming them to RVM2RVM.

We must remember that RVM2 is snowed under with stowables and cannot be held responsible for what he says. I wonder which bay he put the RVMtemps in?

Welcome to the looney bin DCHeck. Glad to have you join us. Tell us all about you, your rig, your fur kids your Visa acct #, your mother's maiden name your ...

Expect a PM from me about the other ways we communicate. Your secret decoder ring is in a box of Wheaties at the Piggly Wiggley on the 3rd aisle... OOPs, I can't say that here. Check your IRV2 PMs.
