No need to look for a goose.. and would not think of eating good a feathered friend.
We can find one in Rockport. I feel pretty sure about that.

Where in Florida, Carl? Several of us will be within a short drive of Tampa this winter. Do you kayak?

Steve called while we were still checking in, and told us about a strange mutant couple he knew of who happened to be in the same KOA that Wayne had told us about. (Earlene's "parking lot".) Such a ruckus they put up just over a little ol' airhorn blast. Just a little one.... And there they were, jumping up and down and banging on the door and all. Sheesh! Some people! 😝
Cheers!

I don't but I will!!! In fact I'm thinking of asking my nephew if his needed a home for a few months as where I'm staying is right along the Little Manatee River
I'll be in a place near Ruskin, parking the bus there for 5 months to keep it out of this northern mess. I'll have to visit it of course off and on and depending on my negotiation skills, perhaps I can telecommute for a bit from down there, here's hoping…

Yep...Sue and Martin just happen to stop at the same CG and be parked right next to us! Such a pleasant surprise.
Looks like we will have a mini-caravan down to Rockport tomorrow morning.

Well bust my bubbles!! Sheesh! So close, yet so far away.
Y'all could go to Galveston for the day and we could have a 3 set caravan on Friday.

We will be in Naples from Dec. till Apr., Naples/Marco Island KOA, to be exact. I've never kayaked further north than Ft. Myers Beach, but some of the group have gone up to Lovers Key. The Orange River I remember, and somewhere we paddled amongst the manatees in the warm waters flowing out from a power plant. That was magical. Lots of good places to paddle in FL. Get that 'yak!

Very doable for all of us, I do believe. Sue and I are both carrying yaks with us.
