Boardwalk/pier over the marsh. Gee I wonder where all those mozzies are coming from! Pond to the right, pier to the left and picnic table with fire ring right here. And the sun has thrown back its blanket and come out to play ... Yay!

Di & Larry we'd love to stop, but we decided to push on to Las Cruces to make our trip to PHX Wednesday shorter. Still have some last minute shopping to do before Thanksgiving. Thanks for the invite, hope we can get a raincheck. Cheers!

Warmer than Goose Island, but otherwise very similar. Check these out:

Ruins from the hurricane that washed and blew everything away maybe 10 years ago. See the steps?

Beyond the marsh and ponds, the beach is pretty plain-Jane.

There's a story here if you can read it.
I stopped on the boardwalk to watch a great egret fishing for his dinner. I was getting hungry but he didn't offer to share.

Mini-C alert! We just pulled off I-10 at Holt, FL. Tomorrow morning we will stop in and meet Mike and Harriet before continuing to our wintering spot near Lithia, FL. Stay tuned to this station for more information.

Mike and Harriet only exit in the either. If they materialize, it will have been some dusted monkey magic... LoL...

We've been to Picacho Peak, but always turned left into the RV park. Tell about the SP, will you? Another year we might like to try it.

Memory of PP: having breakfast outdoors. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, etc., and both of us sat on the same side of the table.

We've never done that again. 😱

I hope they have a working camera, I'm without at the moment -- thanks to a certain dusty monkey.
