It may not be work, but it ain't work.
Why does that awkward sentence make sense?
We are sitting in our annual site in Florida. Doing some part-time work to earn money for diesel fuel. Retirement pay only goes so far.

The Tiffin on ferry has me thinking about spring - come up here and stay on beach a day or three. Then have Don supervise the desalination process.

Crimini! And there we were, staying at that urban park just below! DUH!!! Your place is beauteous and will fer shur be on our to-do list for the next time we're out thataway!

I am enjoying my little fire at Sea Rim, with the sound of Gulf waters as a backdrop and a waxing crescent moon overhead. There are only 7units here tonight, after a full house of 15 yesterday, and I think there's only one other fire. Nope: check that -- 2 others.

It just doesn't seem right to me to go camping and not sit by a fire. It's so easy in these big rigs to forget the outdoors. Glamping does not seem to require open flame. 😕

For all our Phoenix AZ and area Mutants and IRV2ers here's a great place to swing by and take a peek. If you can manage to bring along a donation of a non perishable food item for the Cave Creek Food Bank that too would be appreciated.

Cave Creek holiday light display helps the hungry | azfamily.com Phoenix

BTW Todd, (I'm friends with his father) would instantly qualify as a mutant if he and his lady owned an RV. The guy is a genius with stuff. Looking forward to visiting him when we get to Maricopa to play trains some day.

Good morning all ye who are mutating... Annies friend Evelyn will be leaving in an an hour or so. And we begin to "break camp" and prepare to roll to the RGV Monday morning. Then it is settle in for our first winters mutation. These are exciting times. Looking forward to seeing the sights and all the winter Texans.

Annie, git yer ... kleenexes! This must be the hardest parting of all. 😭

This is the day we move on also. Another 300 miles or so eastward and another spot to spend a few days. I like this slower pace!
