Yep, "normal" is second only to w**k in the list of RVM obsolete words.

But I digress.
The time is now, and it is dinner.

What a great afternoon indeed.
You are really seeing some of the best Texas has to offer including the lovely Earlene. And Wayne.

That would be venison sausage stuffed mushrooms, in honor of our hunting mutants. Also these snaps of this enormous place, in full Christmas dress (complete with visits with Santa).

R U an RV Mutant too?

This place is so immense and ... Let's just say Martin expected to be required to pay an entrance fee as for DisneyLand.

Oh that you should see this from your respective blinds! In the flesh and during the season.

Oh my...! Looks mutantlicous.

Tomorrow we will see what we can see in Aransas Pass - there is a harbor there that we haven't visited yet. I have been told there are oysters there... the one restaurant I looked at doesn't have them on the menu but it is on the water...
Red Fish Willies.

I am a little sad to leave here. As our first stop on the full time rainbow, I have to say this has been a nice start. Having the First Ever Pre-Thanksgiving Day Feast here along with some fantastic mutants really made it special. But it's a great place. I will watch the weather here this winter and compare with the RGV. There are quite a few folks who will be wintering here and I really like the gulf coast and this area.

We made some headway in the unpacking and and stowing - and all but a few loads of laundry are done. We are so close living in real time!

Wildlife was safe today from an unannounced attack. Took 4yo grandson to deer camp with me today. Luckily I wasn't planning on actually trying to hunt but just rode around on 4 wheeler and checked game cameras. Does anyone know how many questions per hour a 4 yo can ask? I don't know, I lost count!! We had fun regardless!

Welcome all you new mutants. I'm the sensitive, smart and caring mutant, don't go by what these other mutants might say.
