Don,

I know we all have different priorities in rainbow riding, but being close to city life with all it's noise and bustle is not on my list. I don't see the proximity of stores as a need for a week or two. I always stop and stock up at Wamart and Costco before heading out into the boonies.

I'm not sure what season(s) it might happen, but I've been warned that being too close to the salt lake is a problem due to smells and mosquitos.

Southern Utah has many amazing sights. Zion National Park is not terribly far from Bryce Canyon, but is at a lower elevation. That's just one of many options.

When I think of a GC venue I like the idea of someplace with trees and lots of peace and quiet for rowdy Mutants to disrupt. To be honest, I was disappointed by the pictures of the Salt Lake campground. It looks a bit like a parking lot. But, that's just my opinion and this is a group decision.

I just stumbled across this book, in the process of reading. This guy was definitely a mutant! The prose is intricate, but stick with it you will be rewarded!

Talked to Mel - MPH today and learned that in the midst of all the w*#! Activity and holiday rushing - she is having some hardware surgically removed from her recent knee surgery. Nothing gone haywire just routine and knee is better but some wire and such has worn out its welcome!

She is fine and all is well including it being Kates birthday today. So Ommms to Mel and Happy Birthday Kate!!!
