Tim - do you recognize those GC@CL Grande Curiosity Crashers behind Jim and Ginny? They look familar.

Speaking of Curiosity Crashers, those Plasma800 kids haven't been around lately. I may need call and rattle their cages.

Use a jar, a straight sided one is nice. About a cup of alcohol... and slice your vanilla beans in half lengthwise so the seeds and innards are exposed...
place them in the jar and cover with the alcohol... cap it, and shake it up... let it sit for about a month ...shaking daily or as you remember.... now if you want really strong vanilla flavor, after a month, you can remove the beans and add another set of beans to the extract you have made and let it go then for another month...but that means you have to wait to use the yummy extract!
So complicated! I just go to the package store and buy some vanilla vodka.

Huh Herb! Actually it is Marshmallow Fluff Vodka for the smoothies, so now you know my secret ingredient.

Dave - Les is Canadian so that can't be any earlier than 1968...

Wayne... do I recall you having a problem with dash stereo in Citrus. I was getting an error code 3 on CD on the way down here. Using the main sound system now so no rush to replace - but Jensen VR182 is aging out anyway. What did you do if anything?
