You and Marty and Sue are actually close relatives of Martha Stewart, right?

LOL... naw... it kindof raises my hackles when I get compared to that other one with my first name.... I'm nothing like her!
But... tonight... I'm taking what I can get... Bob back in bed after a hot bath...was feeling tired and cold and poorly this evening, so I'm listening to the Cars and this one came on... it is rather appropriate...

Thanks for the compliment, but no Martha me!!! We goes farther and deeper than her. We comes from country stock: make, bake, and do stock. Country mouse.

City mouse Martha can have her money, her glamor and fame. Don't need or miss that. Got enough of what I need right here ... and there ... and over yonder ....

And the journey is ... IT! 🎄

Seriously good job, keeping old skills alive is honorable.
One etched or painted with an RVM # on a keychain would be, say, priceless! 32 would be a good even number to start with! Lol

Merry Christmas!
I might try that for ya.

RVM 10 here. The nights in Tonopah, AZ are starting to drop below freezing. I'd feel sorry for myself except that back in Colorado it is 5 degrees below zero with a winter storm warning.

Hope all had a grand Christmas and that all y'all will help me celebrate my birthday on New Year's Eve.

Happy Birthday in advance Dick! Good to hear from you. We are going to drive the hour or so over to the beach tomorrow - should be mid 70's or about.

Cowabunga Dude...

At the stroke of midnight, or there about, it's nighty night time for me. Then I need my 8+ hours for another good day.

Nope! Wasn't the front one it was the one in the BR, AVR-130. Dumb thing wouldn't do anything except sit there with a lit background and be a bump on a log. Took it out, took it apart, looked for cold solder joints, but could not find a darn thing. Researching came up with many other users having that same problem. I wondered what would happen if I put a music CD in. Put in our traveling disc "On The Road Again," and it started playing. Dang! it works. Oops! couldn't eject the disc and never could get it to start playing again e c e p t, pulled out the remote control and it comes on with the remote and the remote controls work. Nothing on the face of the radio works. Strange!

The front one works well, and Sirius XM is streamed to it 99% of the time. One half percent FM, the other iPod.

What do I do to sign up for GC REDO? Are we going zip-lining again? I think we aught to have a windshield decorating contest and let everyone vote for a winner, we need to give Tim some competition. Have you talked to Wayne about how the Texas Boomers do meals. It sure sounded easy.

.
The Texas Boomers do a good job setting up their rallies. Just a search on their food sign up will give a real good demonstration on how to do it. Keeps from having a lot of duplicate food items, and gives good variety. Cudos to Madam Boomer and Barbara (plus others) for the hard work.

But then there are Mexican Polverones, Chocapocolypse, Peppermint Fudge, and last but not least, a Kahlua Pecan Brown Sugar Baked Brie. All to share.

Now, here's my ponder, FWIW: Howscome is it that holidays mean sweets? (Not entirely, of course, but a lot!) What we share with friends, the mailman, the paper boy or girl, co-w**kers, neighbors are almost entirely sweets. Many of them are recipes we don't even think of the rest of the year. How many times in a 12-month do we say, "I'm gonna make up a batch of truffles today. Just for fun."? In my case, once.

Does sugar equal love?

It must, 'cause Earlene is always backing something.

I can't answer that one, the admins will block my IP
Nah! IP's are to easy to refresh and renew, but your MAC Address, well that's another story, but even they can be spoofed. Some of us Mutants can relate to that.
