We're with you on hitting the rack soon. It used to be our new years tradition to watch the ball drop. Now it's our annual catching up with the music scene we pay no attention too all year long..

Marty, that's a beautiful prayer. Thank you for sharing it!

Now, Rose Bowl anyone? The parade was always a tradition in my family, and we went to Pasadena to watch in person one year when I was little. Long ago and far away! My hero at the time, Hopalong Cassidy (what a name!) leaned over and waved to me. I was one excited little kiddo!

Who's playing, anyhow?

New mutants on board -- welcome, mucho welcome! New blood and someone to pass the broom to. Might need a shovel, too!

Would that not depend on how you wake him up? I thought you still had the pole in the BR

Wayne tell Earlene to warm up the coffee cause my partner is back in the saddle week after next and this rainbow rider is pullin out and heading South!

Bob I already have you and Steph a spot saved so I will send you a text so when you call CL to make your reservation you can tell em what your space number is.

As for the rest of you Mutes, if you haven't made plans to come to the best ever GC@CL Redux 1.2 in Hot Springs next April and you want to join us (and you know you do), PM me for details and lot assignments. There is still plenty of room so come on and join us!

Woo hoo and a hoot! Can't wait. Need to make sure smoothies are available. Anyone else in the area that want to make it a Mini-C?

We did the Rose Bowl around 1961-62 time frame. Didn't have an RV back then, just the 1950 Studebaker, Had to park it a couple blocks away. We got there on the 31st sometime in the early afternoon. Found our spot along the curb and staked our homestead claim. Put out the sleeping bags, whatever and spent the rest of the day and the night. Before the parade started there were no more spots available and people were 3 deep. It was nice for the people behind us as we sat on the curb and they could see the parade as well. It was a nice and memorable experience. Of course, I was only a very young whippersnapper.

Happy New Year to all in RVMDOM!! Our 2014 was a great year for us. New (to us) RV, long overdue family reunions, good health and great journeys. 2015 has some big shoes to fill, but really looking forward to it. Safe travels to all.

Whoa! It seems I went to bed too early last night. I missed out on welcoming Tom and Kim to the rainbow.

Watch for a PM from me.

Happy New Years everyone! Bob good to see your back posting, new mutants welcome!

Last grands just drove away, last night we had all four and sons and DIL. After a week where there was no empty spots on floor, we can now see paths without toys!

Have some truly sad news to report, took The Discovery out night before last to fill up at Krogers! Got diesel for $2.34/gal! Problem occurred when returning to the Rv barn. Seems someone moved one of the oak trees in my yard. Looks like a new awning in in store for The Discovery. Thankfully it didn't get into the side wall! Kind of made the cheap fuel not worth it!

Watching the Rose Parade.
A Wells Fargo stagecoach came by, and reminded us that their first branch office opened there in 1879, and that Wayne opened the first account there, and was given the first toaster.

Tim, sorry for the news. Why I never drive at nite! Were you distracted by a blonde neighbor?

HNY to all y'all

Oh ouch.... so sorry! I have been watching gas prices fall and in some spots close to home they are under 2.00/gal... been thinking about taking Honey out of a ride around the block and topping her off... I'll be sure to watch for moved trees....
