Thanks Papa Steve, I've been told I don't make a good patient. I feel awful!

No... no I don't give in too easily to them docs.... she mentioned steroids and I pretty much left at that point... it's bronchitis/sinusitis. I'll do without them steroids... thank you.
Naw.. Steve... I took way far too much 'stuff' in high school for those things to have much effect on me without overdoing it....just sticking with what the doc ordered... 1 teaspoon every 6 hours...

My best high school memory was Marion.
We both loved studying anatomy in Chemistry class.

Well, I don't know about that, but it helps my had and Eye coordination. Having a margarita in one hand and a smart phone in the other. Ha ha.

According to many sports writers and broadcasters, the zebras officiated badly the entire game. But that is not why the Lions lost. The lost because the Cowboys were better in the 2nd half.
We'll see about the next game.

If money were the issue Wayne I would take your advice. Since money is not an issue - I won't. I will buy all the steak and foods to cook I want. As for a keypad - would be nice but not something I really miss. If a keypad breaks or becomes inoperative - do they pick it... ???

Yes, they can pick the lock. There is still a lock to be picked when a keypad is on an RV door. Duh!

Hub returned to work today after the holidays and is turning in his "intent to vacate" paperwork. After meeting with several financial advisors and much hand-wringing for the past several months, we are moving forward with retirement plans. He will be 60 in March, so retirement date is either March 31 or April 1 depending on the more favorable lump-sum interest rate for 1st or 2nd quarter. This will put his last day at work sometime in February since he has 6 weeks of vacation and some floating holidays to burn.
We will definitely be attending GC/CL Redux, but I have still not made a reservation. Must attend to this detail ASAP.
|
Woot woot! We live to close not to have a get-to-gather before the GC.

Good night mutants. Ya know I still haven't made one to do list since leaving for Rockport... will be 2 months in about a week. I feel a little guilty - but I'm learning to deal with it.
I keep trying to focus on getting the website moving and I know a jillion other things. I know what I need - I need a fishing trip.
Speaking of fishing - I have made our reservation with John T Hall in Hot Springs. He was able to get us in on the 4/20 Monday. Annie and I and Larry and Cheryl will fish together - if they can get a dog sitter at GC... Redux. If not - Larry or Cheryl will go with us and Mary Ann will accompany us as Papaw Steve sits this one out.
John is an excellent guide and anyone interested in booking him - can reach him at
(501) 622-9972
And on the web...
http://www.fishing-boating.com/trophy-striper/
Or if you want to fish the same day - John can recommend someone. It is a great experience and beautiful lake. Well worth the money IMHO.
It's easy to get your Arkansas fishing license online and mailed to you. I will give more details when I order ours next month. They have a 3 day or week long license etc. It wasn't too costly to go for the week long - I just don't recall all the details.

I don't know if Cindy will make it or not. I hope so cause I think the Paul Byrd Band would fit her music bill... and would love to meet her.
As for Larry's dogs - they sure look ready to meet new mutants... lol.
