You can Google them on Pop Sugar for the version DH likes best. The original is served only in a NYC restaurant, but copycats abound.

Basically, you cook one packet of Ramen w/o the flavor per burger, drain & cool. Beat up one egg per burger & mix w/ the cooled noodles. Half a packet goes into a ramekin or deli cup and half into another. Cover each w/ plastic wrap, weight with a can of soup and chill until firm.

Grill your beef burgers (or veggie ones) and collect the toppings: soy sauce, cheese, catsup, arugula or lettuce, chopped green onions, and a fried egg (optional).

When ready to serve, carefully turn the Ramen patties into your palm to make sure they are loose, and return them right side up back into the ramekins. Remove the plastic wrap and invert them quickly into a hot, oiled skillet. Brown w/o disturbing until crispy on one side, then turn to brown the second side.

To assemble, place one Ramen patty on a plate, top w/ arugula, then a burger, cheese, soy sauce &/or catsup, the fried egg, and a scattering of green onions. The second Ramen patty tops all.

I'm probably a wimp, but I ate mine w/ knife and fork. The young woman on the Pop Sugar video picked hers up like a regular burger and bun.

In any case, I don't know about the gluten issue here. Can you get gluten free Ramen?
Thanks Sue. I have forwarded to my personal gormet hostess burgermiester sweetie for proper considerations.

Not to be prepared while kayaking or off-roading or spinning, I assume.

YMMV (Your Mutation May Vary)

"Endless" being the Mutated understatement.

The Mutations of this thread began in April. Just last April. The 14th. We are approaching only the 5-month mark of this remarkable thread. And it just happens to be a Saturday, but what do I care, I am retired.

But, 1 week later, on the 21st, RVM2 will depart with the lovely Annie and Rocky (color commentator) on a much needed Journey (which, of course, is the Destination). The point being, I have no idea why I brought this up but somehow glad I did.

RVM2 is, afterall, the architect of the making of the the tread,
that made the Mutants,
That read the thread,
That saw the fun,
That had enough stuff,
That cooked the bacon,
That paddled and sloshed,
That came together by gosh,
And that is the stuff that that built.

Still with me?
Too bad.

That said, please advise what is the next topic otherwise I will leave you with only this:

Ladies and gentlemen,
take my advice,
pull down your pants,
and slide on the ice.

In the absense of ice try water or pizza by the slice.

Don't ask me, I Don't Know.
Third Base!

But I digress....

Pull down your pants and slide on the ice ???

Do you have any idea how cold that really is ?

Ermmmm perhaps I'll just run the camera and photograph all that are brave enough to slide bare butt on the ice, but I for one cannot imagine such a chore, being from the north country, that is just something you wouldnt do unless of course you were ummm really drunk....

ummm
Cheers !!!!

Thanks, RVM2....I think....

You are entitled to your....private Mutations.

On the other hand, Ohio and Indiana are so flat (how flat are they?) well Ohio and Indiana are so flat that while driving free thought can flow much too freely. I fear with a bit O change back.

In fact, so freely that thoughts that make absolutely no sense can Mutate and make total sense! Take the Chicago Cubs, for instance.

But, then there is the rub of the pork rib rub. Propane or charcoal?

Remember when your older sibling dared you to touch your tongue to a frozen metal ice cube tray? Combine that mental image with the above quote and ...
